Apparently, these days having a great head of hair also means you smell wonderful. Two weeks ago, Hayden Christensen was been named the face of Lacoste’s new fragrance, Challenge, and just today, WWD reported that the "Grey's Anatomy" hot doc, Patrick Dempsey, will be debuting his second scent with Avon this November.
The fragrance, which will be called Patrick Dempsey 2, is "about the intimacy of two people and the strength you get in a relationship," the actor noted. "I thought, why don’t we just go with ‘2′ and make this about being a couple.” The ad campaign will include Patrick posed with his longtime wife Jillian, who also happens to be Avon's global creative color director.
Last summer, fans got their first chance to smell like the star when he unveiled Unscripted, his signature sent with Avon, which had notes of cardamom, black peppercorn, fig and lavender. Patrick Dempsey 2, however, comes with a bit more of an edge with notes of mandarin, nutmeg, spiced wood accord and patchouli. We're not actually quite sure what the latter half of those notes actually smell like, but we do know if it means you'll give off an aura similar to McDreamy's, then we're certain this cologne will by hypnotic.
