Op adBy Haley Murphy

It seems that more and more lifestyle brands are replacing models with celebrities as faces to represent them. With Fergie for MAC cosmetics, Lindsay Lohan for Fornarina and most recently, Hayden Christensen for Lacoste, it’s no surprise that a California-friendly line like Ocean Pacific (a.k.a. Op) has gathered a few of the hottest Hollywood stars to front its new fall line.

Op started using familiar personalities in ads for its Spring/Summer 2008 “OPen Road” campaign, which starred Kristin Cavallari, Rumer Willis, Christina Milian, Josie Maran, Pete Wentz, Corbin Bleu and Wilmer Valderrama. The original beachy lifestyle brand has now stepped up the ante with "One Tree Hill" actress Sophia Bush, Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden,"The Hills" playboy Brody Jenner, "90210" vixen AnnaLynne McCord, singer (and sister to Beyoncé) Solange Knowles and "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Cody Linley. Step UpFilming has officially begun in New York City on the third "Step Up" movie, which follows a tight-knit group of street dancers trying to beat some of the world's best breakdancers in a showdown. Alyson Stoner and Adam Sevani reprise their roles from the first two dance dramas, but along with a few familiar faces expect to see something else new (no, not any street dancers busting out to "Macarena"): 3-D cinematography.

The third "Step Up" is the first 3-D movie to film entirely in New York City, and also the first-ever 3-D dance flick. Expect a summer 2010 release, but in the meantime, check out our list of the familiar Big Apple sites we're thrilled to see on the big screen in 3-D ... and which ones we're not so sure about.

Thrilled to see pop out of the screen:

1. THE ARCHITECTURE
New York is home to some of the most famous and fabulous structures in the world (the Chrysler Building is a personal fave), so I wouldn't mind getting an up-close view of all those flying buttresses and groin vaults. Read more...

FROM MOVIES BLOG: As you all learned earlier today, “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens is very excited about her role in the upcoming Zack Snyder project, “Sucker Punch.” Speaking with MTV’s Matt Harper on the set of “Beastly,” the singer gushed her affection for the “300” director’s work, and her joy at being able to break away from her youth-oriented roots.

“Sucker Punch” tells the story of a wrongfully institutionalized young woman (Amanda Seyfried, at last report) who retreats into a fantasy world of her own creation as a coping mechanism. Hudgens will play Blondie, one of Seyfried’s fellow inmates. Well here… why don’t you see for yourself:

If you cried your eyes out during "The Notebook," then get ready to pull out even more tissues this time around. "My Sister's Keeper" — which is based on a novel by Jodi Picoult and helmed by "Notebook" director Nick Cassavetes — hits theaters tomorrow. The drama follows a family as they struggle with keeping their cancer-stricken daughter Kate ("Medium" actress Sofia Vassilieva) alive. Kate’s parents (Cameron Diaz and Jason Patric) will try anything to save her, so per a doctor's suggestion, they have another child (Abigail Breslin) who's an exact genetic match to Kate, thereby able to become a donor.

Last night, at the premiere of "Keeper," MTV caught up with the cast and asked them about making such a weighty film. Cameron Diaz — who's an actress not typically known for somber roles — said the movie actually fit right into her filmography. “It just feels very natural to the rhythm of what I’ve been doing over the last 15 years,” she said. For big-screen newcomer Sofia Vassilieva, the project was very close to her heart, and credits the cast for their dedication. “You know a big foundation of that was that we were in it together, that this team so faithfully and so firmly believed in this project.”

Zach and Taylor By Terri Schwartz

OK, well maybe IMDb’s STARmeter isn’t saying that Zach Galifianakis is technically hotter than Taylor Lautner, but it is saying that, this week, "The Hangover" star is beating out Taylor, Johnny Depp and Christian Bale as Hollywood’s sixth most popular star.

The STARmeter is determined by how many views certain stars receive each week, and then ranks them accordingly. Unsurprisingly, Taylor's fellow "Twilight" stud Robert Pattinson is #1 on the chart (he has been in the top 10 for the past 36 weeks and #1 for 22 of them — wow!), followed by Zach’s "Hangover" co-star Bradley Cooper at #2 and "The Proposal" hottie Ryan Reynolds at #5. Emma WatsonRumor has it that "Harry Potter" starlet Emma Watson may have chosen Columbia University as her college of choice. It was one of the schools she visited last fall (along with Harvard, Yale and Brown), and if you search on the Columbia website someone who has a derivation of Emma's given name is listed in the school directory.

But, that someone could be someone else. Although, Emma has been quite vocal about wanting to attend college (probably this fall). In her recent cover story forTeen Vogue she said, "I've been saying that I wanted to go to university since I was eleven, so if they didn't let me, I'd be pretty upset." Read more...

Zac and BreckinFROM MTV.COM: Just days after Perez Hilton's alleged altercation with Will.I.Am and the Black Eyed Peas' road manager Liborio "Polo" Molina, Zac Efron has teamed up with Breckin Meyer for a Funny or Die parody of Hilton's passionate video account of the incident.

In the video, Meyer says he is using his legal name of Luigi Lopez Hyack Banderas Conchito Alonzo as he describes an incident that occurred between him, Efron and Efron's girlfriend at the Robot Chicken skate party. In the same shaky-but-emphatic tone that Perez used in his video, Meyer says, "What happened to me ... happened to me as a human being and should never ever happen. Never. Ever. Never."

Hugh and Miley Last week, Hugh Jackman was seen lunching with Miley Cyrus and her mom, Tish, in L.A. Now comes word that Hugh has been cast in the teen-friendly flick, "Personal Security," prompting Hollywood insiders to wonder if Miley is the next name to be attached to the flick.
