FROM MOVIES BLOG: The United States premiere — and subsequent wide release — of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” is almost upon us. I’m going to see it tonight with MTV Multiplayer editor Russ Frushtick. Needless to say, we are both excited to see Michael Bay’s giant CG robots lay waste to a significant portion of the planet.
As the U.S. release has inched closer and closer, “Revenge of the Fallen” premieres have been flaring up all around the globe. Here at MTV, we’ve been quietly adding to our gallery of images from the many premieres, bringing you up close views of the cast and crew smiling for the cameras as they promote their summer hit. The latest premiere to hit was in Moscow and, sure enough, we’ve got some more images for you to enjoy. So… uhhh… enjoy!

What girl doesn't dream of snuggling up to her very own granite-bodied Edward Cullen every now and then? (Me: Guilty as charged!) Well, if you're willing to trade stone for plastic, you're in luck. Mattel has created its own Edward Ken doll complete with "shimmering complexion" and "trademark gold eyes." And if it's your thing, you can order a Bella Barbie, too. (The Toys "R" Us site, however, recommends this doll for people aged 6-7 years, but we're guessing they don't quite understand how vast the "Twilight" universe actually is!)
Mattel isn't the first company to jump onto the Edward Cullen doll Volvo bandwagon. Earlier this year, we test drove another set of Edward and Bella dolls, which from the looks of it, had a little more meat to clutch onto while propelling 500 feet up a towering Evergreen. Read more...

"Transformers" star Shia LaBeouf thinks his words have gotten a bit twisted lately — especially the ones in which he referred to his mom as "sexy."
“It was Mother’s Day coming up and I don’t have any problems appearing crazy to make my mother smile, but she is the most beautiful woman on this planet and I love her," he told Extra about his comments in Playboy about calling his mom sexy. "She’s fly as hell. I stand by that." Read more...

Whispers of a possible new Hollywood couple began last week when "Twilight" actress Ashley Greene was spotted on a maybe-date in L.A. with "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier. But, the duo now want to assure everyone: They are not dating.
"I have only met him once. But he's very smart. We actually started talking about environmental stuff. He's a very go-green guy," Ashley told People. "I think he's a really sweet guy." But, what does she think of everyone saying how cute they'd be together? "God, that's what I keep hearing!"
Well, it seems her rumored beau is sticking to the same story. When he was asked about the romance rumors, he told Extra, "We were at a surfing lesson. Oakley was doing a surfing event and she was there. We did share a dance like many people did and I didn't have sex with them either. She's a great girl and we're just friends for now." Read more...

It seems that everyone on "The Hills" is an entrepreneur these days — but only one of them (for now) can call herself an author: Lauren Conrad! LC’s debut as an author, "L.A. Candy," is the first book of her Hollywood trilogy about a couple of teen girls on a reality show.
Much like the show she recently vacated, the book has the same target demographic of teenage girls. And while I'm not a teenage girl (or at least pretty sure of it) thanks to being a part of MTV Detox I have become a "Hills" aficionado. So as a person who is an obsessive watcher of the series, I, of course, picked up Ms. Conrad’s book. Read more...
FROM MTV.COM: Lindsay Lohan is getting her own reality show. But if fans of the "Mean Girls" star think that they will get an intimate look into la vida Lohan, they'd better think again.
The show, TMZ reports, will be an inspirational reality show where $1 million is given away to a person who is looking to turn their life around after going down the wrong path. That person will be judged by a panel, and it's rumored that Lohan will possibly appear as a judge on the show.
Seacrest, who produces the elder Lohan's reality show, "Living Lohan," Tweeted about the concept, saying, "Met with Lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her ... it helps people and gives others a second shot! Still putting it all together."

With stellar episodes like last night's "Keep This Party Going," it's easy to see why "True Blood" fever has sunk its fangs into television fandom. In fact, HBO's sultry vamp series has the highest fan engagement of any TV show, according to new fan ranking site TV Fandex. Created by Webpaint, TV Fandex measures buzz on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Webpaint's own network of 1.5 million user-created fan sites to determine the most-talked-about shows. During its first week of public rankings, "True Blood" topped the leader board followed by "NCIS," "House," "Weeds" and the canceled "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."
Personally, I'm not surprised the supernatural goings-on in Bon Temps, Louisiana are causing so many tongues to wag. Caught in the barren wasteland that is summer programming, "True Blood" is like, well, a swig of Tru Blood to a starving vamp. The sexy series has not only cashed in on our renewed interest in the undead but continues to deliver a compelling narrative that touches on racism, religion and politics. But ... with hot bloodsuckers and ripped Jesus Camp campers. Read more...

It seems that love can come in a variety of ways, but the classic accidental love story has been popping up all over the place. In the most recent example, “The Proposal,” Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) forces her assistant Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her in order to avoid being deported to Canada. He agrees to marry in exchange for a promotion, and the two engage in what seems to be a business-like partnership. After spending time pretending to be a couple, the duo finds themselves actually falling for each other. Sure, it may seem predictable, but who doesn’t love a happy ending? This isn’t the first time love has “accidentally” conquered all. Here’s a few movies that take on a similar plot line to “The Proposal” and turn out to be “surprising” love story!
1. "What Happens in Vegas"
When you mix Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz in a romantic comedy you know you are in for a (crazy) treat . The movie follows Joy (Cameron), who just got dumped by her fiancé, and Jack (Ashton), who just got fired from his job, as they both retreat to Vegas for the weekend. After a night in sin city, they drunkenly get married and proceed to win $3 million. In order to evenly distribute the money a judge orders them six months of marriage counseling. In the midst of hating each other — shocker! —sparks fly and they fall in love. Who saw it coming? Read more...

As a graduate from LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, which is often referred to as the "Fame school," I was so excited when I learned that during my internship at MTV News, I would have the amazing opportunity to meet a few of the castmembers from the upcoming "Fame" movie remake. I'm currently in college, but after this experience, I couldn't help but reminisce about the four years I spent dancing in the hallways, and singing that famous song from the movie: “FAME! I want to live forever! I want to learn how to fly!”
Not only will this remake be a refreshing new look for our young generation, it also features some very, very talented performers. Paul McGill, who plays the role of Kevin in the movie, is a trained dancer who has had the opportunity to perform on Broadway in "A Chorus Line." Crazily enough, Paul also trained in dance with a few of my close friends over at his high school, the Professional Performing Arts School!
Perhaps the most familiar face within the cast is that of Naturi Naughton (above, left). She's bringing to life the vivacious role of Denise, who is modeled after Irene Cara’s role in the original. Read more...

It isn't everyday two of Hollywood's hottest young stars take a twirl around the dance floor at prom — unless it's on a soundstage with cameras rolling. But there were no cast or crew to be found last week when "Princess Protection Program" actresses and real-life BFFs Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato crashed the Etobicoke Collegiate Institute prom in Toronto.
According to People, Selena snuck out of a dinner celebrating the "Princess" premiere to take a walk around the complex when she stumbled upon the in-progress prom. She asked security if she could take a peek, and once inside, began dancing with a group of girls. Read more...
