Miley CyrusWe missed you yesterday, gang, so we’re hoping to make it up to you with today’s best celebrity Twitters! It seemed like everyone had some grievances to air, especially a certain matter between a certain famous couple and a certain controversial rapper. Nick Cannon (http://www.twitter.com/NickCannon) made quite a few note-so-subtle remarks regarding the ongoing battle, Tweeting, “Be patient in the moment of anger and escape a hundred days of sorrow!” and “Changing the world one hater at a time!”

But, Nick, Mariah and Eminem may have to step aside as Carson Daly (http://www.twitter.com/carsonjdaly) may have started a smack down with ‘American Idol.’ The former ‘Total Request Live’ host was Tweeting about his love for Kings of Leon with an abrupt jab at the mega-popular show, “Kings of leon deserve it all. So many tour dates, hard road work, albums, growth, time spent working. I hate american idol.” Let’s just hope KOL doesn’t get dragged into this!

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian gave her opinion on ‘The Ugly Truth’ and The Soup’s Joel McHale let us in on which vegetable he loves most (see below for both reveals.) Don’t forget to follow us for all your celebrity and Twitter fixes @hollywoodcrush and have a great weekend! Read more...

Last spring it was rumored that "Aliens in the Attic" star Ashley Tisdale was in talks to star in a remake of the now classic 1989 teen flick, "Teen Witch." But after the rumors hit the web, not much else happened and it was never confirmed or denied that the Tis would tackle the role of Louise.

Well, it's been over a year since the rumors first got mongering and still there is no word on what will happen next with the project. But, that doesn't mean Tisdale is ruling it out yet. "You know it just depends they're writing the script so it jus depends on where... on how it comes out," she told MTV News. "And where it goes and other scripts as well." Read more...

'Wings'There can't be a better way to get good buzz about your book than having a star like Miley Cyrus attached to its movie adaptation, which just so happens to be connected to the production company behind "Twilight." Oh, well, maybe also placing a large-font quote from "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer on both the front and back covers. Yes, those are the reasons I picked up Aprilynne Pike's "Wings" for this week's Book Report. But they're certainly not why it remained in my hands until I drank up every last word of it.

Nope, credit for that goes to Pike's imaginative mythology, cleverly disguised by easygoing prose and what at first seems like a simple YA plot. After being home-schooled her whole life and living blissfully with her parents in an isolated, country home, Laurel is not entirely thrilled when her dad decides to buy a bookstore and move the family to a small town. And she just doesn't get why her mother insists that she has to go to a regular high school now that she's a sophomore. Read more...

Gideon YagoOn August 1, 28-years-ago a little channel called MTV launched. And, with it came hot guys known as VJ's and correspondents presenting music videos and music news to teenagers all across this great land known as America.

Over the network's nearly thirty year span, there have been so many interesting personalities - Pauly Shore, Bill Bellamy, Jesse Camp - that you forget that there have been some hotties gracing this network as well. And while we salute some of our current talent like Tim Kash, Sway and Tres' Carlos Santos for keeping the airwaves attractive, but we also are reflecting on some of the fine fellows who have graced the famed Times Square building before them and defined what it meant for us to be teenagers.

5) Brian McFayden: We couldn't help but be a little broken-hearted when we found out that this VJ and the network's resident blonde bombshell was dating Nicky Hilton. Read more...

Jennifer AnistonAdd Jennifer Aniston's name to the growing list of former "Friends" on the hunt for young blood.

Former co-star and real-life BFF Courtney Cox was first to the trend, signing on as executive producer and star of the ABC sitcom "Cougar Town," and now Jen is following suit headlining the romantic comedy "Pumas," Variety reports. The film centers on two thirtysomething women who "make a habit of romancing younger men and take a French skiing vacation that challenges their romantic expectations." Read more...

Image Courtesy Entertainment WeeklyWe've hinted that we'd love to see a "Twilight" star suck some O-negative on the set of "True Blood," but we never thought a Forks-Bon Temps crossover would happen so soon! Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, dazzling Edward (Robert Pattinson) and gentlemanly Bill (Stephen Moyer) are joining forces (well, at least to share a cover).

Inside, the mag talked with some of our favorite vampire authors, including Anne Rice, Charlaine Harris and Stephenie Meyer, about why the undead are so darn appealing. Read more...

Taylor Swift and Taylor LautnerWe have to say that combining the tween loved forces known as country princess Taylor Swift and "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner for the new everybody-in-Hollywood-is-in-this-flick rom-com known as "Valentine's Day" is quite genius. And now there's photographic evidence of the pair on set (check out another pic after the jump)!

Swift's reps confirmed her casting to MTV News for the flick, and although Lautner hadn't been confirmed at press time, if these photos prove anything it's that Lautner and Swift, who made a cameo in "Hannah Montana: The Movie" earlier this year, will be making some sweet music together on screen. FROM MOVIES BLOG: A couple weeks ago, in an exclusive chat, Tim Burton told us that he plans to film his delightfully peculiar supernatural movie “Dark Shadows” next year. Adapted from a cult classic ‘60s soap opera, the film will star Johnny Depp as the lover/biter Barnabas Collins.

That’s right: Tim Burton is making a vampire flick, and making one at time when the blood-suckers, from “Twilight” to “True Blood” to “The Vampire Diaries,” are experiencing a pop culture resurrection. How does Burton feel about joining the vampire zeitgeist? How will his “Shadows” stack up against “Twilight”?
