It's hard to believe that Coco Chanel lived a life before she was, well, that Coco Chanel (her actual first name is Gabrielle). But the new film, "Coco Before Chanel," starring "Amelie" actress Audrey Tautou as the titular icon, looks at Coco's life before "her designs changed the world of fashion."
In the new trailer for the highly anticipated biopic (which has no relation to last year's Lifetime channel movie, "Coco Chanel" starring Shirley MacLaine) about the visionary fashion designer, we see Coco in her humble beginnings as a seamstress, singing in a club and falling in love with two different men who have their sights set on the woman who would go on to become a legend in the world of fashion.
The sneak peak also shows Coco as an early feminist who wouldn't adapt to the styles of the day, like corsets, and she is even seen — gasp! — wearing pants. She was revolutionary in both her life as a woman and a designer, and we are about as eager to see this flick (out Sept. 25) as we are to hit this fall's fashion week!
Are you excited for the release of "Coco Before Chanel"?
