A fog was settled over London last night for the world premiere of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," weather very much akin to the Dementor-riddled London "Half Blood-Prince" takes place in. Half-soaked and cheerful, fans and the film’s stars turned out for the long-awaited premiere.
Unlike the London Photocall earlier yesterday, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint showed up with clearly coordinated outfits to the premiere — the somber greys and blacks perfectly suiting the weather.

Pink was clearly the color of the evening though with Daniel’s shirt, Rupert’s belt, Emma’s headband, Bonnie Wright’s adorable dress, Michael Gambon’s tie and Maggie Smith’s flower on her tunic, but Tom Felton and Jessie Cave seemed to have missed the memo. He showed up looking dashing in a straight black tux while she looked adorable but out of place in her white-and-purple dress get-up – but maybe she was just trying to match non-Potter-chick Hofit Golan, who showed up with what looked like a purple flower on her head. Maybe both followed Tim Burton — who showed up to support partner Helena Bonham-Carter — from the "Alice in Wonderland" set?
J.K. Rowling defied all color cues by looking simply stunning in a blue evening gown alongside hubby Dr. Neil Murray. Though her role in writing the series is technically done, she looked very happy standing alongside the three actors whose career she single-handedly created.
Daniel, Rupert and Emma, who fans of the franchise have watched grow up since age 11, looked like the adults they have grown into. Emma has never looked more gorgeous than she did in an elegant semi-sheer grey gown, though she clearly was not expecting the wind that blew its slit bottom open to expose some leg while she was signing autographs for fans.
Rupert and Daniel were handsome as always, with Daniel having lost his weird sleek-haired look from the Photocall that I’m convinced he stole from Megan Fox, and Rupert taking some funny shots showing his unwilling acceptance of the rain.
Evanna Lynch looked beautiful — and very cognoscente — in her white-and-silver grown while Bonnie Wright showed off just how much she has grown up in her little black-and-pink dress.
Star power came out in droves despite the rain to get a first look at the third-to-last Potter film. Jamie Oliver showed up with his wife and kids, Daisy Lowe and Will Cameron appeared as a dynamic duo and Guy Ritchie appeared with his son, who was looking like a young Harry Potter himself.
Among others, Jamelia, Toby Jones, Gordon Ramsey, Nick Moran, Tom Fletcher and John Hurt all made an appearance at the premiere — events which are in limited supply now that the series is winding to an end.
