We bet this is one "Hangover" Lindsay Lohan regrets not having. Us Weekly is reporting that the 23-year-old actress turned down the role of stripper Jade (which eventually went to Heather Graham) in this summer's blockbuster comedy "The Hangover."
Lindsay apparently declined the part, even after her agent campaigned for her, because the screenplay "had no potential." "The agent tried hard to get Phillips ["The Hangover" director] to consider her," a source told Us, "and when he finally agreed, Lindsay said she didn't like the script!"
The gut-busting flick, which has raked in $205 million so far, would have undoubtedly been a nice career boost for a star who's lost a bit of her luster. Lindsay's last box office effort "I Know Who Killed Me" earned a mere $7.5 million, and her latest movie "Labor Pains," which was to be considered for theatrical release, will ultimately debut on the small screen on the ABC Family channel, next week. We'll have to wait and see if upcoming projects like "The Other Side" and "Dare to Love Me" can restore some of La Lohan's star power.
Would you liked to have seen Lindsay in "The Hangover," or do you prefer Heather Graham? Will you be tuning in to "Labor Pains"?
