Our very own "Canada Day hottie" Ryan Gosling is about to share his voice with the world as he forays into the music biz music this fall. Ryan (or, "our future husband" as we like to call him around the Hollywood Crush water cooler) and his band, Dead Man's Bones, will release their album October 6.
Until then, we are biding our time by listening to the work of past Mickey Mouse Club members' albums. That's right, Crushers — Ryan Gosling got his start alongside Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and those two guys from *NSYNC on the MMC way back when.
Of course those other former members all started releasing music in the 90s, though — about a decade before Ryan decided to embark on his own music career. Justin Timberlake and J.C. Chasez graduated from MMC and embarked on another kind of phenomenon. *NSYNC's first album was released in 1998.
Britney Spears and her school-girl act hit the scene in 1999 with her album, "…Baby One More Time." And, Christina Aguilera burst on the scene and out of her genie bottle shortly after in the same year. Of course, *NSYNC, Britney and Christina all went on to worldwide fame and success with their tunes. So, we expect nothing less from the Gos.
There have been several other castmates from the MMC generation that have tried their hand at music stardom, as well. Remember The Party? Yeah, neither do we. But, we're still waiting on Keri Russell to release her album inspired by her work on "Felicity."
What do you think of Ryan Gosling expressing himself musically?
