Movie premiere or "Grey's Anatomy" reunion? How about a bit of both. Several of Seattle Grace's finest were on call last night to help co-star Katherine Heigl celebrate the premiere of her romantic comedy, "The Ugly Truth," which opens July 24.
Star Katherine (below with director Robert Luketic and co-star Gerard Butler) glowed on the red carpet, sporting a newly dyed auburn 'do, a neck full of pearl baubles by David Yurman and Joan Hornig and a taupe tulle dress by Lanvin. Casual cool appeared to be the dress code for Katherine's "Ugly" male co-stars Gerard and Eric Winter who were twinsies in matching suit-sans-tie ensembles and open-collared shirts. Gerard and Katherine seemed happy to ham it up for the paps, with Gerard at one point even playfully licking Katherine's cheek! (Let's not kid ourselves, we were jealous of Izzie!)
Though a relative big screen newcomer, you may recognize Eric (below, left) from a slew of T.V. roles including soap "Days of Our Lives" and "Brothers & Sisters." However, I'll always remember him for his hot cameo in Britney Spears' Curious perfume commercial (watch it here and swoon). Eric's arm candy for the night was wife and "Without a Trace" costar Roselyn Sanchez who looked lovely in a belted LBD.
Among Katherine's past and present "Grey's" cast mates on hand for the premiere were Justin Chambers, channeling James Dean in a pair of aviator shades and a black leather jacket, and "Private Practice" star Kate Walsh (above, right) who looked ready for Diddy's White Party in an ivory-colored romper, showing off her long, shapely gams.
The award for most-eye-catching frock undoubtedly goes to singer Jewel who rocked a stunning, floor-length Grecian emerald gown.
Also on hand for the star-studded premiere were co-stars Cheryl Hines, Bonnie Somerville, and Bree Turner, Anna Faris, "House" actress Jennifer Morrison and tennis aces Serena and Venus Williams. Click on the photos above to check out more from our gallery of red carpet photos.
