With actress Mischa Barton hospitalized for undisclosed "medical issues," producers of her new CW series "Beautiful Life" are readying a Plan B pending Mischa's return to good health.
Instead of replacing the ailing actress, producers are casting an additional recurring character — tentatively named Jane — who will be similar to Mischa's model character Sonja Stone. Presumably producers will turn the series' focus toward Jane if Mischa must bow out. With shooting resuming next week, casting directors have probably began pulling their hair out trying to fill the role. That's where we come in!
