We know you never thought it would be possible to compare slightly rebellious Jenny Humphrey with goody goody coed Felicity, but not you can. You see, it's the real-life choices both of the actresses made that makes this comparison so easy to make.
Back in 1998 during the second season of "Felicity," Keri cut her hair and WB execs were none too pleased with the decision and soon ratings were down on the show. As a result, the WB ordered their actresses not to cut their hair anymore. So, it's a good thing that Taylor Momsen got permission for the "Gossip Girl" execs before she cut hers.
"I cut my hair. That was the big thing that changed Jenny, the whole arch and transition [because] I wanted to cut my hair," she explained to MTV News. "So I called the executive producer, Stephanie [Savage], and I was like 'Can I cut my hair like this?' and she was like, 'yeah totally but wait until the timing and we'll create an arc around it.' So that was a big turning point for Jenny and she hasn’t quite gone back yet so it's great."
Taylor further explains that she loves playing Jenny so much because "she's constantly evolving — everything with the way she speaks, her attitude towards things and her style in particular cause she's still figuring out who she is."
So, how do you think Jenny will change her look in the new season of "Gossip Girl"?
