'Eclipse' Controversy: 'Twilight' Stars React To Rachelle Lefevre's Recasting During TwiCon

While the announcement that Bryce Dallas Howard would be replacing Rachelle Lefevre as the villain Victoria in "Eclipse" — and then there was the subsequent back-and-forth battle between Summit and Rachelle took place — was a shock to the "Twilight" world, it couldn't have come at a better time. Diehard fans of the Saga gathered this past weekend in Dallas for TwiCon, and it gave MTV News the chance to get reactions from Rachelle's costars and good friends.

Though Peter Facinelli wanted to remain as neutral and placid as his character Dr. Cullen, he did admit, "I'm saddened the dates didn't work out and that Rachelle's not going to be in 'Eclipse' because I love her like a sister." That doesn't mean, of course, that he's not willing to accept the new Victoria, Bryce ... er, that is if he can pronounce her name right! (Press play above to see what we mean.)

Dr. Cullen's son, Jasper Hale (Jackson Rathbone) also chimed in on the big "Eclipse" switch. "I'm going to miss [Rachelle] terribly," he told MTV News in a solemn tone before saying with a laugh, "I would love to work with Rachelle again. Rachelle, I love you!"
