Jessica Simpson recently got intimate with the debut of her new lingerie line, and now she’s getting even more personal with Glamour magazine as she talks about everything from her body image to recent breakup with football star, Tony Romo.
On the cover of the women's mag (see the full image after the jump), Jessica looks stunning wearing Valentino, Gucci, Giambattista Valli,a piece from her own collection and her signature bright smile, which she managed to flash despite the controversy circling her personal life. This isn’t the first time Jessica has gone through a very public break-up, and she spoke with Glamour about being alone again, and how she found happiness after such a public divorce.
After her split from 98 degree’s Nick Lachey, it seemed Jessica would never get out of her romantic dry spell. “It was hard to imagine I would ever walk down the aisle again," she admitted. "It was like a death in the family: You go through the mourning stage, then the rebellion, and then all of a sudden you have to find life by yourself. Once you do that, you feel complete — and that’s the only time you can truly fall in love again, and give yourself over completely to another person.”

As a media whirlwind came her way once again with her recent split from the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, but Jessica said she tries to remind herself that everything happens for a reason. “I don’t regret anything I’ve gone through ... I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope that my life, as it is now, doesn’t change. I’m very happy and comfortable — it’s a great place to be in. If this article comes out and we’re not together, I’d still love [Tony], and he’d still be a huge part of who I am today.”
Her love life is not the only controversial thing the paparazzi can’t get enough of. Jessica has constantly been in the tabloids for her body, and she certainly has an opinion on all the negative chatter. “It’s not fair that women look in the mirror and feel disgust because of what society has made them believe about beauty. I’ve been through it myself and understand the pressures. We’re all facing the same struggles together, whether you’re a celebrity or not.”
As far as the future is concerned, Jessica says she will continue her career regardless of her life’s obstacles. She says, “Music is the heart of who I am, and it’s the most personal thing that I do.”
What do you think of Jessica’s cover? What’s your best breakup advice?
