The trailer for sometimes thespian and perennial pop star, Justin Timberlake's, new flick, "The Open Road," has hit the net. And although the film doesn't look groundbreaking, Justin does seem, in typical fashion, very charming.
Justin plays Carlton, the estranged son of baseball player Kyle Garrett (Jeff Bridges). The pair, along with Carlton's lady friend, Lucy (Kate Mara, pictured), embark on a road trip. The film also stars Mary Steenburgen as Justin's sick mother, who hopes to get the chance to see her husband again.
The flick opens in limited release on August 28 and we have to say the father and son relationship seems kind of adorable. Or, maybe we just can't resist JT, even if he isn't an Oscar-worthy actor yet.
Plus, we figure it has to be better than "The Love Guru."
So, will you be hitting "The Open road" with Justin later this month... or will you just wait until it hits DVD?
