Just as we are mourning the loss of Channing Tatum's singledom (if we haven't ingrained it in your head enough by now, he got hitched to Jenna Dewan just over a month ago) we must now say goodbye to the chance of ever being "Melrose Place" and "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" star, Michael Rady's girl, too.
According to Just Jared, Michael's rep confirmed his engagement to his college girlfriend Rachael Kemery today. The actor said he asked Rachel to marry him on July 23 “in bed, around 2am." How romantic!
Michael, 28, who met and fell in love with Rachael while attending Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philly, said that it all happened so fast that he didn't even have time to get his fiancée a ring yet. He said, “It just happened … we’re going to get one!”
And if that wasn't enough of a reason to be excited for the former swinger (he was on CBS' short-lived 70s show "Swingtown), today also happens to be his birthday. We really suggest that these two go out, buy a ring and really celebrate. Congrats!
But, before they do that, maybe the bride-to-be should stop by the set of "Melrose Place" to check out her competition: It was announced yesterday that the aforementioned Jenna Dewan would be making a cameo on the show as a character who has her sights set on Michael's. At least they can compare notes on their hot men!
