It's true what they say about breaking up; it really is hard to do. What with the returning of personal effects, the erasing of phone numbers and the changing of Facebook statuses. But that stuff's actually easy peasy compared to the kind of upheaval a "Twilight Saga" uncoupling causes. According to Kristen Stewart, parting ways with the world's most dazzling vampire nearly killed her!
When we sat down to talk with the "New Moon" star (read our full interview with her and costar Taylor Lautner), she was frank about being intimidated by the second novel—largely because of the grandiose emotions she had to convey. Read more...

Murderous young ladies seem to be all the rage this fall. Yesterday we brought you an exclusive clip of the first three minutes of Audrina Patridge's slasher flick "Sorority Row," and today we continue MTV's Fall Movie Preview week with a chat with "Jennifer's Body" writer (and Academy Award winner) Diablo Cody.
For the uninitiated, "Jennifer's Body" stars Megan Fox as the titular character, who after a human sacrifice gone wrong, becomes possessed by a demon and begins seducing and eating the boys in her high school. Sounds kind of out there, right? So where did this oddball idea come from? Apparently, a walk down memory lane. Read more...

By now, Stephenie Meyer fans everywhere have begun buzzing about "Twilight in Forks," the first-ever documentary about the “Twilight” phenomenon. I’m particularly excited about the movie because I visited the tiny little logging town not too long ago, and it was during that trip that I initially met the crew and heard about the project.
Now, as part of the first step in producer York Baur and director Jason Brown’s countdown to the film’s release, the duo have given us the “one sheet” for the flick. So, take a minute and check out the cool art after the jump that will grace the DVD and posters promoting “Twilight in Forks” when it hits stores (and Amazon) October 15th.

Hollywood stylists must have put an embargo on the rainbow this summer, because just like last week's InStyle Summer Soiree, stars turned up for Nylon magazine's TV Issue launch party at Skybar in L.A. decidedly devoid of color. But even clad in simple blacks and whites, the stars couldn't help but glow.
"True Blood" actress and Nylon cover girl Anna Paquin arrived in a super sexy little black dress by Herve Leroux, which was complete with a sheer, plunging neckline perfect for a quick bite from a certain gentlemanly vampire. If Anna's dress looks familiar, it's probably because starlet Megan Fox wore a similar sheath (sans the sleeves) to a "Late Show with David Letterman" appearance recently. And speaking of vampires, Anna's date was none other than onscreen bloodsucking beau and real-life fiance Stephen Moyer, who looked dashing in a dark suit and white button-up.
But the "True Blood" stars weren't the only television cast in attendance last night (It was the TV Issue party, after all). Keep reading to find out who else graced the party with their presence. Read more...

Did you just die for the season premiere of "The Rachel Zoe Project" last night? If you did, the stylist extraordinaire herself Rachel Zoe certainly didn't let it go unnoticed, Tweeting, " I want to thank u all for watching RZP2 with such enthusiasm and excitement..it makes it all worth it! luv u all xoRZ." There was also a big name in the fashion world making a splash on television last night, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Anna, who is the subject of the new documentary "The September Issue," stopped by Letterman last night and Nicky Hilton loved the appearance so much, she wrote, "I love that David Letterman just asked Anna Wintour if she's ever put anyone in a headlock. Who knew she had such a playful sense of humor."
In more somber news, today marks the eight-year anniversary of the death of R&B superstar Aaliyah. The "Are You That Somebody?" singer died at the age of 22 in an airplane crash and her friends made her presence remembered in the Twitterverse today. Former "Degrassi" star Andrea Lewis wrote, Remembering Aaliyah Dana Haughton (January 16, 1979 August 25, 2001) R.I.P while Adrienne Bailon paid tribute by posting, "R.I.P. Aaliyah. We miss you!"

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Pop tart Britney Spears sent fans on a city-wide womanhunt yesterday in Manhattan, Tweeting clues to her whereabouts for two lucky fans to score front row tickets to her Circus tour stop at Madison Square Garden. Britney, along with popular radio station Z100, posted progressively detailed clues all day, culminating in the big reveal, "All eyes on me outside the M&M store on 48th and 7th...Britney."
Hordes of fans circled the Times Square candy store, with two lucky gals taking home the sweet prize. Click on the photo above to see the full picture of Brit during the triumphant moment.

Although there have been no public statements yet, after KStew and RPattz' "cozy" Kings of Leon concert "date," it seems Kristen and longtime boyfriend Michael Angarano are definitely over. The two, who met in 2004 on the set of Sundance film "Speak," and later started dating, were spotted in Vancouver near the "New Moon" set in April, but since then it has been a summer of Bella and Edward. Kristen even joked to USA Today in April that she thought it would make the "Twilight" fans happy and her more popular if she dated Rob.
It looks like Mikey is getting cast aside like Jacob in this scenario, but don't feel too bad for Brooklyn boy yet. We doubt the 21-year-old indie star of movies like "Lords of Dogtown" (which, oddly enough, happened to be directed by Catherine Hardwicke and costarred Nikki Reed) and "Snow Angels" will be lonely for too long. He has a new movie, "Gentlemen Broncos" (don't miss the trailer for that comedy), opening at the end of October and he will be starring in Jason Reitman's "Ceremony." Until then, you can get your fill of Michael — and check out more photos of him and his maybe-ex — by clicking on the photo below. Just be sure to keep an eye on who Kristen shows up to the VMAs with this year! (That is, if she actually shows up. We can only hope!)

Once again Ellen Page is showing her parents what a rebellious and badass daughter she is, except instead of being with child, she's participating in the less finite but infinitely more dangerous roller derby. Today we got an exclusive sneak peak at the brand-spankin'-new poster for "Whip It" (see the full image after the jump), which is the Ellen headlined and Drew Barrymore directed flick heading to theaters October 9.
I'm loving the many layers to this poster. Showcasing Ellen in her classic innocent style, the filmmakers aren't shoving the fact the film is directed by Hollywood's golden girl Drew Barrymore down anyone's throats. Instead, the focus is on Ellen in roller derby gear, but with the tagline "Be your own hero," the plot of the film isn't given away to people that don't know anything about it. Also, by having the text of "Whip It" be a bunch of different shots from the film instead of being a solid color, they're showing us this film is going to be about a lot more than just Ellen Page or the roller derby.

“Knock You Down” singer Keri Hilson reviews all of her best and worst fashion moments on the latest episode of MTV.com’s new webseries, “What Were U Thinking?” Usually the show features celebs who’ve been around for a long time, and have lots of good and bad looks (previous guests have been Kelly Osbourne and "Cheetah Girl" Adrienne Bailon). But Keri Hilson has just started to blow up, though she’s been on the music scene for a while as a collaborator and writer on songs for artists like Mary J. Blige, Britney Spears, The Pussycat Dolls and Jennifer Lopez. Read more...

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart aren't the only duo swapping spit on the set of the third "Twilight Saga" film "Eclipse." Newbie cold ones Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel were spotted heating up the Vancouver set last week with a steamy lip lock.
Bryce plays vengeful vampire Victoria who turns college student Riley (Xavier) into one of her bloodsucking minions in order to exact revenge on Bella for the death of her mate James. Dressed in head-to-toe black, Bryce seems to be working a much edgier style than Victoria predecessor Rachelle Lefevre, whose look in the first flick tended more towards the bohemian with her flamboyant fur coat and kitschy "Kiss Me I'm Irish" tee. The two apparently will share a similar hairstyle though, as Bryce dons a wig to mimic Rachelle's wild red curls.
To see more pictures of the steamy vampire kiss, check out Lainey Gossip.
What do you think of the pair's liplock and Bryce's Victoria style?
