Cash Warren and Jessica Alba Let's face it, there's nothing better than a Friday. Well, maybe if you're spending it with your better half. That's what a few celebs will be doing this weekend, at least. Cash Warren, Jessica Alba's fiancee, took to Twitter to talk about his leading ladies, and to brag a little too, " Off to Austin TX in an hour. Can't wait to see my girls! I'm hear Honor is driving already...and u thought ur kid was smart!!" Even Ellen DeGeneres got in on the fun and made a cute joke about having a famous significant, writing, " Celebrity sighting of the day: Portia de Rossi, eating lunch in my kitchen!"

While a lot of celebs had some sweet end-of-the-week postings, others had some, well, odd Tweets. Former "Malcolm in the Middle" star Chris Masterson decided to share this little gem about his current location, " This elevator smells like a diaper." But, no one could quite top LL Cool J today on completely baffling why-is-this-even-a-Tweet? The rapper/actor shared this wisdom with fans, " Gardening requires lots of water." Thanks, LL!

True Blood This season of HBO's titillating vampire series "True Blood" has been more addictive than a shot of V, wouldn't you agree? So it's a pretty big bummer that there are only three episodes left of the fangtastic second season.

Now that the Fellowship of the Son/vampire war has been diffused (for now, we think) and Eric's wept over his departed maker (R.I.P. Godric), the gang is headed back to Bon Temps where one hell of a mess awaits thanks to she-devil Maryann. But if you can't wait until Sunday to sink your teeth into the next episode, we've got a sneak peek sure to temper your thirst...for now. Read more...

Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Reality star Kourtney Kardashian surprised many in the gossip world when she revealed last week that she was five-months pregnant with her on-again, off-again boyfriend's, Scott Disick's, child. According to E!, she found out about the baby near the end of taping for her new reality show "Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami." "I just kept thinking something wasn't feeling right. ... Literally, I took like 20 tests. I went to the doctor and he confirmed the news. I was just so shocked." Now that the shock has subsided (we hope, at least) Kourtney and her baby's daddy are getting prepared for their special delivery, which is due in December, by shopping for cribs and other accessories.

After the jump, check out which CW stars attended an event for JCPenny. Read more...

FROM MOVIES BLOG: If you followed the source link in our earlier post, on Catherine Hardwicke taking the reins for "The Girl With the Red Riding Hood," you may have noticed that the Variety article also pins the "Twilight" director to "21 Jump Street." That project, adapted from the '80s TV series about undercover cops operating as high school students, already has a script from Jonah Hill. No other announcements have been made however, so it is surprising to see such seemingly big news revealed in such an offhand way.

As it turns out, there was no reveal. Hardwicke's publicist told MTV that "it's too early" to say anything, and that Hardwicke "isn't attached" to the adaptation. While that certainly leaves the possibility open that she could sign on for the project, it might be tough with her plate being so full.

For an event billed as a "summer soiree," celebs took a decidedly dark approach to their red carpet looks, opting for blacks and metallics over breezy, bright ensembles for InStyle magazine's West Hollywood party last night.

"Twilight" star Kellan Lutz took a break from the Vancouver set of "Eclipse" to attend the fete clad in a charcoal button-up and gun metal jeans, while his "New Moon" costar model Noot Seear channeled a bit of her vampiric alter ego in a low-cut, billowy black romper. Read more...

The economy sucks, that's a fact. There are no jobs available, and fewer good jobs at that. As a college student, it seems almost daily I am faced with a story from friend after friend about how they were forced into retail or waitressing after graduation because there were no jobs open in their chosen field. Therefore, when I heard that Alexis Bledel's character Ryden Malby would be going through the same struggle in "Post Grad," which hits theaters today, it made me hope that the movie winds up being as realistic as it sounds.

When Alexis sat down with MTV News to talk about the film, she shared that when she was originally presented the script five years ago, the story did seem relatable, and even when the film went into production just a few years later, it still made sense. "It was a timely story when we shot it, which was before the economic crisis," she explained. "And then when [the crisis] happened, it just made it more so, but we had no idea that that would happen." Read more...

Kristen Stewart Kristen Stewart is a down-to-earth chick. She avoids the limelight, prefers to star in independent flicks and, as evidenced at the MTV Movie Awards, is kind of awkward. When most actors say the best part of being in a blockbuster hit like “Twilight” is the public recognition or fortune, Kristen said in a Q&A for the "Adventureland" DVD (out August 25) that it’s given her the opportunity to “do things that I really like, things like an independent movie nobody would normally see." Now, she laughs, "it’s like, ‘Oh let’s go see Bella in this stripper movie; it’ll be crazy!’”

She is of course referring to the film “Welcome to the Rileys,” which she costars in with James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo as a troubled street kid who works at a strip club. And, while her role in the film has earned her some attention, the public’s attention is almost solely focused on the upcoming “New Moon.” Read more...

JigsawCatherine Hardwicke(pictured with Robert Pattinson) left the "Twilight Saga" before its Quileute shape shifters took the stage, but it looks as though the indie director will get the chance to dance with wolves (or at least one big, bad one) after all. Catherine has signed on to helm "The Girl With the Red Riding Hood," Variety reports.

The film is described as a "gothic retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood story, with a teenage love triangle at its center." Hmm, a teenage love triangle, you say? That sounds familiar. But how likely is it that we'll see a few familiar (read: "Twilight") faces in the fairy tale revamp? Pretty likely based on Catherine's track record of recasting stars. Read more...
