Cougars: they’re hot, they’re experienced, and they are on the prowl! ABC’s new series "Cougar Town" premieres tonight with Courtney Cox as TV’s first billboard cougar, and it got us to thinking about those women in real life who could easily slip right into Courtney's shoes.
The man eaters (well, some of them are, right?) have been taking over the Hollywood dating scene and with the debut of "Cougar Town," we feel a rampage coming on! So to honor the she-cats, we came up with a list of a few celebrity cougars and and the hunky young-men they took off the market.
Our favorite cougar couple who may have actually inspired the movement: Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher! Demi and Ashton started dating in May 2003, and despite the 15-year age gap and fan disapproval, they tied the knot in 2005 and have been going strong ever since. So strong, in fact, that Ashton even has quite the friendly relationship with Demi's ex-husband, Bruce Willis. (Do you remember when they all showed up on the red carpet together for the first time to the "Charlie's Angels 2" premiere and everyone seemed entirely civil? Yeah, so do we.)
One of the newest and most surprising cougar couples is Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Did anyone see this marriage coming? Mariah and Nick, who are 11 years apart in age, shocked everyone with their secret wedding on April 30. The unusual duo hadn’t been publically dating for too long before exchanging rings, but if they’re happy, we’re happy.
The newest couple making their debut on the Hollywood streets of love is Madonna and Brazilian model Jesus Luz. 
Madonna, who just turned 51-years old on August 16, began dating 23-year-old Jesus after meeting at a shoot last December. Jesus has already formed a bond with Madonna’s son, and Jesus’ father has said that the couple is planning a Kabbalah commitment ceremony. Whatever a Kabbalah commitment ceremony entails, we're wishing good luck to both of you!
