In true Kardashian style, reality star Khloe Kardashian tied the knot this Sunday in L.A. with her LA Lakers boyfriend Lamar Odom. The pair had been dating for about a month before they decided to commit to a lifetime together. Some would say that’s a little rushed, but hey as long as they’re happy right?
Khloe's maids of honor included her sisters Kim and Kourtney, while their younger sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, were bridesmaids. Their brother, Rob, was one of Odom's groomsmen. It seems the only familiar face missing from the family photo ops was Brody Jenner.
Step-brother Brody couldn’t join his family for the occasion. Of course, “The Hills” star had a perfectly legitimate excuse — he had to fly to New York City for an interview with MTV News early Monday morning. Really, can we blame him for that?
"I missed it. I had to be here," Brody said. "You guys are the reason why I missed it."
That's OK because Brody says he'll be spending plenty of quality time with his new step-brother-in-law come basketball season. "I'm getting some good seats this year at the Lakers games, yes!" he said with a laugh. "No, I've met Lamar a couple of times, and he seems like a pretty incredible guy. So, it came fast, to say the least, but I'm happy for them. She seems very happy, so good for them."
Brody also had a few things to say about the new season of “The Hills,” mostly involving the arrival of Kristin Cavallari. “The bitch is definitely back,” he said. (Hmmm, where have we heard that before?) "'Kristin will come out at you."
Brody, who used to date Kristin, said the two have always maintained a good friendship, but that he still misses his old amiga Lauren Conrad, who left the show at the end of last season. “We had a pretty good chemistry,” he said, of his "friendship" with Lauren. The two, however, haven’t talked since she stopped filming for the show last season.
No need to feel sorry for him though, Brody said he’s found some new friends to keep him busy. Besides hanging out with girlfriend Jayde Nicole (who he said was totally OK with Kristin joining the show — yeah, we'll believe that one when we see it), he has also been getting to know Justin Bobby. “He’s not your average Joe,” said Brody, adding that they sometimes ride motorcycles together.
