Sure these days Mischa Barton is busy working hard on her new CW series, "The Beautiful Life: TBL," in which she plays a struggling model and former "It Girl," but the actress certainly isn't ruling out any other opportunities that may come her way — including the chance to reunite with her former amigos Adam Brody, Rachel Bilson and Benjamin McKenzie for an "O.C." reunion.
Yes, that's right: Mischa would love to tackle playing Marissa Cooper one more time. Even if Cam Gigandet did kill her in the series. Only problem is, she's not sure everyone would be willing to come on board for it.

Beyond the big names like Death Cab for Cutie, Muse and Thom Yorke on the “New Moon” soundtrack, there are plenty of unfamiliar artists with songs on the album. Swedish pop singer Lykke Li is lucky enough to get track four on the CD with her song “Possibility.” Be jealous of her: she admitted on her Myspace blog that she like director Chris Weitz's brother Paul already got to see a cut of “New Moon” to inspire her to write a track for the album.
Like all the artists featured on the album, the song she recorded was unique to the film. But unlike the more established bands like The Killers and Bon Iver, Lykke has only been in the industry for about two years. Through sites like Myspace and YouTube, Lykke built up an audience in the United States when she made her second &8212; this time successful — trip across the Atlantic.

Get your pom-poms poised, Crushers! The teen cheerleading flick "Bring It On" is somersaulting on to the stage, according to Variety .
A squad of Broadway veterans from shows like "In the Heights" and "Avenue Q" are working on the production, aiming for a regional development by 2011 with a national tour to follow. No plans have been made yet for a Broadway or New York staging, but we think this project could still be given the same reality show treatment "Legally Blonde: The Musical" got on our own MTV network with a nationwide search for the lead actress.

Collins Pennie is ready for his close-up. The "Fame" star may have learned a lot from his street tough background, but now the actor, who has a good shot at being the break out of the flick, may prove himself to be a threat to his Hollywood competition. Plus, he's easy on the eyes, which is why he's joining the illustrious ranks of the Hump Day Hottie clan.
Press play on the video below to see more of Collins and keep reading for more juicy details about him.

The boys got their '80s fix with "Transformers" and "G.I. Joe," but it's the girls' turn now—and this is a good one. "Jennifer's Body" scribe Diablo Cody is bringing Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield to the big screen in an adaption of the young adult series "Sweet Valley High," reports Variety.
Authored by Francine Pascal, the novels revolve around twins Elizabeth and Jessica, who while identical, couldn't be more different. Elizabeth is kind and caring, a would-be journalist who works on the school newspaper, while cheerleader Jessica is a conniving schemer who cycles through guys like so many used tissues.
The popular series launched in 1983 spawning several spin-offs including "Sweet Valley Kids," "Sweet Valley University" and "The Unicorn Club." Perhaps capitalizing on the success of YA series "Gossip Girl," "Sweet Valley" was relaunched in 2008 with updated covers and text which included references to cell phones, blogs and other technologies unheard of in the '80s (we're betting that has to be the version Diablo will be getting her material from).

It's really about time Hollywood Crush starts charging for a portion of casting fees! After all, just three months ago (almost to the day) we suggested five possible actors for Columbia Picture to pick from for their upcoming Facebook film, "The Social Network." Among them was "Zombieland" leading wimpy man Jesse Eisenberg who Variety confirmed today would, in fact be playing the lead role of Mark Zuckerberg. Can you feel the synergy here between Hollywood Crush and actual Hollywood, people?
Jesse even teased us earlier this month when we sat down to talk about "Zombieland" by responding when we asked him if there were any truth to "The Social Network" casting rumors with: "They are rumors. That is true." C'mon Jesse! I thought we shared more of a bond than that!

As we reported yesterday, "Twilight" star Ashley Greene has her very own official Twitter, and she wasted no time keeping fans updated on "Eclipse." Ashley tweeted earlier, "Hey everyone! Headed to set.... sooooo excited about what I get to film over the next few days! You guys are going to love it : )" We don't doubt that for a second, Miss Cullen! But, Ash wasn't the only one gearing up for another day on the job, as Ashley Tisdale kept us up to date with her whereabouts, "Just ate some breakfast with my fam and now headed to record phineas and ferb!"
Elsewhere, Miley Cyrus, who shared the stats about her impressive number of Twitter followers today, ("Omgoodness! I got 2,000,000 today! Thank you") also filled us in on what shes been listening to on her iPod, "Laying in bed listening to Elton John. Positively genius." Funnyman Michael Showalter of "Michael and Michael Have Issues" dished out what hes listening to as well, and the results were rather unexpected, as he tweeted, "New guilty pleasure: Jordin Sparks 'Battlefield.'"
Check out what else had celebs talking today, from the Jonas Brothers football frenzy to Tyra's Twitter advice. And don't forget, you can follow us all day, everyday @hollywoodcrush for all the latest! Read more...

In late August the Internet was a buzz with a rumor that Kat Dennings and Ryan Gosling were romantically entangled with one another. The pair had been spotted on a "date" at Disneyland on the same day that Kat tweeted she had been kidnapped (in one of those "good" ways) and taken to Disneyland. Coincidence? We here at Hollywood Crush think not.
However, when we caught up with her while she was promoting her new flick "Defendor," at the Toronto Film Festival, she wouldn't say if it's true or not. "A friend? I don’t have any friends," she told MTV News reporter Josh Horowitz when he mentioned she had been spotted with what Josh referred to as a friend. "I don’t know. I can't talk about my personal life."

Once you've received your diploma and sidled out of the auditorium to the flourish of "Pomp & Circumstance," it's unlikely you'll return to high school until the dreaded 10-year reunion (which may be closer for some of us than we'd care to admit). But that wasn't the case for "Fame" star Paul McGill who filmed scenes for the musical in the halls of his alma mater.
Paul, a Broadway veteran who plays dance student Kevin in the remake, said coming back to the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts to shoot parts of "Fame" was naturally an odd experience. "It was a bit weird because I hadn't been back there in a while, so there was a lot of those memories," he recalls. "Plus, I was doing something new with higher stakes."
Before being cast in "Fame," Paul's biggest claim to, er, fame was playing the young version of tightrope walker Philippe Petit in "Man on Wire." Click play on the clip below to hear more about his surreal experience returning to high school.

What’s up? I am a new intern with MTV News. I’ve only been here for a week but let me tell you, we’re doing big things over here. My fellow interns and I got an exclusive sneak peek of some “New Moon” gear that will be hitting Nordstrom stores in a few week. Yesterday, Liliana showed you the “Team Wolfpack” tees, and now I get to show you more new stuff as MTV’s “Twilight Fashion Week” continues!

Now, I’m not big on showing off my “Twilight” obsession for the whole world to see — I mean, wearing a shirt with a big, screaming movie title just ain’t my style, OK? — which is exactly why I love today’s “Crest" tees (I'm wearing one of them in the picture above).
