The effects of "Fame" are already being felt — literally and figuratively — for some of the stars of Friday's showstopping movie release. On the VH1 Diva's red carpet last week, Asher Book confirmed to MTV News that his boy band V Factory is about to release its second single, which will be feature a special sound: the powerful vocals of Asher's "Fame" costar Naturi Naughton.
The idea for the collaboration on the song, which is called "Get Up," began on the set of the upcoming musical. "We built the relationship and then afterward, you know, she just has such a phenomenal voice and we thought it would be cool to have a female vocalist on [the track] to see how that would sound, so it came out good," Asher recalls. As far as the rest of the V Factory album goes, Asher says it will probably be out around October or early November. "We're just trying to get the single out first," he adds. V Factory, be warned, we have a feeling your fan base is about to grow a lot bigger come this Friday when Asher struts his stuff on the big screen.

Kick off your shoes and get ready to dance— "Fame" week has officially arrived on Hollywood Crush! Over the next five days, we're going to be bringing you all kinds of content from Friday's musical release, "Fame" (think interviews, clips and looks back to the original movie).
Today, the "Fame" kids are "hungry" for action. What better place for the students of New York City High School of Performing Arts to break out in a little song and dance than the cafeteria (it's a quite popular to bust a movie among food these days ... do you recall the "Stick To The Status Quo" number in "High School Musical"?). In a scene from the upcoming film, the students chant out in unison a little aspiring tune as some stomp and prance around tables in a moment of glory. But not all are loud and proud — Denise (Naturi Naughton) looks as if her lunch room has been turned into feeding time at the local zoo. Press play below to see how the cafeteria chaos unfolds, and check back with us all week for more on "Fame"!

Edward Cullen can save you from a bloodthirsty vampire, read your thoughts (unless your name is Bella Swan), and play a lovely lullaby for you on the piano. But how is he at remembering to pick up milk at the grocery store? Pretty good, if you're talking about the new "Twilight"-themed, Edward-approved notepads from LobotoME.
The Bite Me notepads, which you can order from Delight.com for $9.75, are meant to "Fuel your O.C.D. (Obsessive Cullen Disorder)." Separated into two halves, the left side is for your to-do list ("when you're not dreaming about Edward...") and the right side, featuring the silhouette of the beloved bloodsucker, is to "doodle on when you are dreaming about Edward..." Inscribed at the bottom is the oh-so-true-line "Twilight...the beginning of the end of my sanity." How fun!

Just as everyone has an opinion, a favorite meal and a nose — albeit a fake one at times — so too does everyone have a birthday... even celebrities. Here at Birthday Bash, it's our mission to salute the fine actors, filmmakers and other Hollywood heroes that are celebrating their special day this week. After all, it's cheaper than mailing a cake!
This week, we're busting out the cake Hogwarts style for a bad boy wizard, a blockbuster movie star and a former "Lost" native.
Tom Felton (September 22): Best known as Draco Malfoy, the menacing wizard-in-training and Harry Potter's greatest nemesis (in his peer group, that is), Tom Felton has cast a spell the world over thanks to his bad boy charms and riveting performance in the latest "Potter" film, "The Half-Blood Prince."

We love a good proposal story! During last night's Emmys red carpet, "True Blood" star Stephen Moyer revealed how he popped the question to his onscreen lady, Anna Paquin (it was a total surprise!) to E!'s Giuliana Rancic.
"She doesn't take any of my nonsense," Stephen said when asked what he likes best about his fiancee. "She is very funny and very frank and very direct and very beautiful." Ah...
Stephen said that he was originally enticed by Anna's talent, but when the two went their separate ways after filming the first season (he to London and she to New York), he realized how much he missed her. The pair began dating the following February.

We already knew she was "Privileged," but red-headed starlet Joanna Garcia is even more so now that she's getting to share screentime on the third season of "Gossip Girl" with Chace Crawford. When MTV News ran into the actress at the launch of Anna Sui's "Gossip Girl" collection for Target, she seemed quite smitten with her leading man. "I mean, if you guys have ever seen Chace Crawford, you know he's got it down like no other," Joanna gushed. "You couldn't find a cooler guy. For everything that he could be, he's that and more. He's gorgeous and a total dude, and we have so much fun together. I was really lucky. It made doing this really kind of sexy show a lot more comfortable having him as my partner."
Wow! Sounds like Joanna's Bree Buckley had so much chemistry with Chace's Nate Archibald that we might see her in more than just the four she originally signed on for — at least she certainly hopes so. "I don't know, maybe I'll come back and cause a little trouble, stir up some naughty business." Press play below to hear more about that from Bree herself!

We originally thought the full track list for the “New Moon” soundtrack was going to be released on Friday, but we're still waiting in anticipation to see what songs are going to be filling up our iPods come October 20 when the album is released.
Death Cab for Cutie is the only band to have released a song from the soundtrack (listen to “Meet Me At The Equinox” here!) and today MTV UK announced Muse would be remixing one of their tracks for the album as well.

Surprisingly, this "Valentine's Day" post isn't to report a new super famous face joining the Hollywood-heavy cast. Nope. Though it seems like just yesterday we were flush with casting news and on-set photos, somehow a trailer for the February 2010 release is already upon us!
Much how I anticipate the movie to be structured, the "Valentine's Day" trailer flashes from super-star couple to super-star couple. There's Julia Roberts and Bradley Cooper! Anne Hathaway and Topher Grace! Hector Elizondo and Shirley Maclaine! Patrick Dempsey and Jennifer Garner! It's like standing on the red carpet at the Academy Awards (or so I imagine).

Well, it finally happened, Tweeters. After months of pleading from fans and his co-star Peter Facinelli, Robert Pattinson made his first official tweet today! Unfortunately, our beloved Edward Cullen did not create his own account (as Peter noted, " At least you know he doesn't have a Twiiter account. Lol. Down with the posers") he hopped on Facinelli's page to tweet, " Hi, it's Rob... My first and last tweet. My dad made me do it." He's a man of few words, but we still love him so! And we love you too, Peter, for making this actually happen!
Rob Pattinson's maiden (and sadly, final) tweet wasn't the only thing being celebrated today, in fact, for many today rings in a whole new year. Nicole Richie wished the traditional, " L'shana Tova" on her page, while Brooke Burke got ready to spend Rosh Hashanah with her loved ones, tweeting, "Happy new year. Big family dinner tonight and Amanda Bynes was set to celebrate, too, posting, Going to Melissa's family's house in Long Island for Rosh Hashanah!" For all of you celebrating Rosh Hashanah today, we here at Hollywood Crush would like to wish you a Happy New Year!
Check out what else had celebs a-twitter today, from what Eliza Dushku's fantasy football picks to Diablo Cody's weekend box office prediction. Don't forget to follow us all weekend @hollywoodcrush and check in with us Monday to get all the best tweets from the Emmy Awards! Read more...
