With the whirl of TV spots, trailers, screen shots and scenes that Summit Entertainment has been releasing to promote "New Moon" (released in three weeks!), it's surprising we haven't seen the entire movie already. But Summit is taking the smart approach and, instead of releasing an actual new scene, they instead release an extended segment of something shown in a trailer. It's smart because not only does it whet our appetite, but the viewer still knows they have something to look forward to when the movie hits theaters.
Tonight's Ulalume Festival clip (see it after the jump!) was no different, showing Bella's birthday party before she gets her infamous paper cut. It's the first time we've gotten a good look at the Cullens since the first teaser, which also showed clips from the birthday party. This MTV exclusive clip gave us the chance to actually hear some interplay between our favorite vampire family.

Fans will have to wait until next year to see all the crazy shenanigans that Miley Cyrus will get herself into for her cameo in the "Sex and the City: The Movie" sequel, but she's already dishing about her cameo in the film, where she plays the easiest role of her life: herself!
"It was the best job I've ever done," she told Ryan Seacrest when she spoke to him on his radio show on Friday. "It was a total dream come true."

The question still remains: What are you going to be for Halloween? Hopefully you were inspired by some of our Dress Like A Movie Star suggestions but it seems like some of the stars themselves might need a little help, too. "Kim Possible" star Tahj Mowry wondered, "What ya wearin 4 Halloween? Hmm what should i b? Myself, hahahhaaa." While "The Rachel Zoe Project" sidekick Brad Goreski actually was a costume this year, tweeting, "OMG!! Cannot believe Regis and Kelly did a spoof of the Rachel Zoe Project! so amazing...regis was hysterical as me..." Elsewhere, "Benjamin Button" actress Taraji P. Henson already has her costume picked out, telling followers, "IT'S HALLOWEEN and I'm still a big kid. I'm dressing up as Cher cause I got the long hair! LOL! Anybody wit me?"
While most celebs (and their kids) are excited for tomorrow, it seems Hollywood has its own Halloween party pooper. "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star and occasional VMA host Russell Brand (pictured) argued, "Halloween?Skeletons and pumpkins aren't actually scary, just bone scaffold and a vegetable. You might as well be scared of potatoes and hair." Actually, now that we think about it, Russell would make a pretty good Halloween costume ...

When a 20-year-old Robert Pattinson auditioned for the role of Art, a struggling singer/songwriter, in the indie comedy "How to Be," he certainly had personal experience to bring to the character. Though the British actor had appeared in the "Harry Potter" franchise, he had not yet broken through to superstardom, as he would after being selected to become Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" franchise.
Thus the audition footage that accompanies the upcoming "How to Be" DVD — and which Access Hollywood posted a short clip of on Thursday — is a fascinating insight into the way RPattz's life used to be, as well as the process by which he creates a character.

Some of our favorite celebrities have had some really great Halloween memories. Taylor Swift was a Chewbacca with her bestie Abigail. While, Jessica Biel went as Barbie one year, and even won a contest!
Then again, some celebrities have also had really horrible Halloween costume memories. Kelly Osbourne called her brother out for being a hot dog, when in fact he was a taco. While, Penn Badgley wanted to be a spooky zombie type creature and just ended up creeping out girls. And finally his "Gossip Girl" costar, Leighton Meester, freezed her butt off one year when she went as a Hula girl.

We know you guys aren't the last-minute planning types (and even if you are, we'll forgive you), so we've got a feeling your Halloween costumes are hung up neatly in your closet ready for tomorrow's spooktacular holiday. We've also got a feeling that a majority of your costumes were inspired by the "Twilight" series.
So, instead of just taking pictures of yourself (and/or your group of friends) decked out in Cullen crests, Volturi robes or Bella jackets and posting them to Facebook afterward, why don't you upload them to http://your.mtv.com/ and let the whole world see just what kind of a devoted fan you are. We'll pick the best and the palest brightest of the "New Moon" costumes we find and post them next week.
Need encouragement? Press play on the video below to see what a few of the stars of "New Moon" think about you dressing up as them. Jackson Rathbone, in fact, would love it if he could hire you for the night (dressed as Jasper) in order to "distract paparazzi." For more with the "NM" cast and a sneak peek at MTV's EXCLUSIVE "New Moon" clip, don't for get to tune into the Ulalume Festival TONIGHT (9pm ET/PT). Afterward, the clip will be posted here on HC!

Author Carrie Ryan is doing her best to prove that zombies — like the "Unconsecrated" in her book, "The Forest of Hands and Teeth" &— are the new vampires. On Thursday, Carrie and fiancé JP Davis (the man responsible for her zombie craze) shared #6-10 of their favorite zombie-infected movies, books, TV shows and video games. Here, just in time for your own Halloween marathon, are their top five:
#5: "World War Z" (book)
Carrie Ryan: Max Brooks book proves that the zombie apocalypse is, in fact, possible. Not only is this book riveting in scope, but it's really amazingly well written.
JP Davis: The "zombie occupation" period of our history has been sadly neglected in our educational system, and many of our children don't even know that once the world was largely occupied by living corpses with a taste for human flesh. Max Brooks says "never again."

It's been an interesting year for "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus. In February, the 16-year-old was sued for "racist" photos that depicted the teen star slanting her eyes, mocking Asians. She raised eyebrows again in August when she performed a pseudo-pole dance atop an ice cream cart at the Teen Choice Awards. Then there was that time she quit Twitter. It's hard to believe these crazy happenings didn't play a role in her latest dubious distinction: being voted "Worst Celebrity Influence of 2009" by AOL's JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website.
Miley beat out second place-finisher Britney Spears (who admittedly had a fairly respectable 2009) and Kanye "I'm going to let you finish" West, who came in third. In an interesting twist, Miley also walloped fellow Disney princess Vanessa Hudgens in the poll, even though the Wildcat has had not one, but two naked photo controversies of late. Funny what tween/teens will forgive, huh? Where is Chris Brown on this list?

Just in time for Halloween, Jimmy Fallon was back last night on "Late Night" with a candy corn-obsessed version of "Robert is Bothered," a bit that has increasingly little to do with RPattz or the "Twilight" franchise that has made him a star, but which still makes me chuckle.
Fallon's imitation is less heartthrob and more boozy Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, less Hollywood cool and more anxiety-ridden Larry David in "Curb Your Enthusiasm." In past episodes, Fallon-as-Pattinson has skewered targets as diverse as Harry Potter and sharks. Last night he decided to metaphorically egg, toilet paper and shaving cream the sugar-coated holiday of Halloween.

Spencer Pratt may not be ready for parenthood in real life, but he doesn't seem to mind playing a dad for Halloween. King Spencer and his Queen, Heidi, decided that for Halloween they'd go as Jon and Kate Gosselin (of "Jon And Kate Plus 8"). And, instead of hiring Spencer's "Hills" nemesis, his kid neighbor, Enzo, as one of their eight—they found themselves a wagon and filled it with eight baby dolls.
The pair even had two friends pose as a TLC crew to follow them around and document their lives as the gruesome twosome. Spencer rocked an Ed Hardy t-shirt — a signature Jon look — while Heidi went for a Team Kate t-shirt. Coincidentally, there are places all over the Internet (like zazzle.com) where you can buy Team Heidi and Team Lauren t-shirts.
