Grandmum Elizabeth already got the biopic treatment thanks to Helen Mirren's Oscar-winning turn in "The Queen," so we guess it's only fitting filmmakers turn their gaze to the fiery spare heir. (Let's be honest, Harry's hijinks make for much better big screen fodder than older brother William's princely ways, right?)
According to Britain's Daily Mail, the film, appropriately titled "The Spare," will "chart [Harry's] life from being trapped in a tragic fairytale to becoming a royal warrior, more at home on the field of battle with his men than in a palace." The screenplay will be finished near the end of the year, with shooting beginning around this time next year.
Though the movie is in the early stages of production, several actors are reportedly being considered for the role including Luke Treadaway, who's in 2010's "Clash of the Titans," his twin brother Harry, and Rupert Friend, who is starring as Albert in "Young Victoria." (Did you see our exclusive trailer premiere of "YV" last week?) But Hollywood Crush has a few ideas of its own. Feast your eyes on our top picks for Britain's favorite ginger.

1. Rupert Grint
He may be best known as Ron Weasley to "Harry Potter" fans, but with his red hair and native British accent, we could see this wizard making magic with the role of another Harry. Besides, Hogwarts is probably a lot like Eton, right?
2. Charlie and Max Carver
As Lynette Scavo's teen twins on "Desperate Housewives," Charlie and Max know how to stir up a little trouble, just like their fellow carrot top Harry. They may not have sported Swastikas at a Halloween party, but they did manage to sleep with an older woman and get arrested for arson. So there's that...
3. Jesse Plemons
A footballer on and off-screen, the "Friday Night Lights" star has worked his body into fine athletic form, much like the young royal's. And, he knows what it's like to play second fiddle to a BMOC (i.e. bff/ Panther QB, Matt Saracen) — a role Harry often has to take on next to Will.
4. Michael Welch
Sure, he's not a ginger, but give this "Twilight" star a box of Nice 'N Easy, and we think he could shapeshift into a good approximation of Mr. Windsor. Plus there's something about his affable, jokester personality that reminds us of the feisty royal.
Who do you think should portray Prince Harry in the biopic?
