Kristen Bell has made a career lately out of being heard and not seen. As the voice of the Upper East Side's most infamous blogger, Kristen gives us the juicy scoop on the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite on The CW drama "Gossip Girl." And you'll likely recognize her crystal clear vocals in the upcoming animated adventure "Astro Boy," as Cora. But thanks to "Couples Retreat" (out October 9), we'll finally get to see the pretty 29-year-old again in the flesh. Kristen stars alongside Jason Bateman, Vince Vaughn and "Sex and the City" star Kristin Davis in the flick, which centers around four couples vacationing on a tropical island and undergoing a little unconventional therapy along the way. In honor of Kristen's return to the big screen, we are making her the focus of this week's Star Gazing.

Kristen's come a long way since her stage debut as a tree and a banana in a Detroit production at the age of 11. Graduating from the prestigious New York University Tisch School of Arts, Kristen made her Broadway debut in 2001 as Becky Thatcher in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." After a slew of one-off television roles on "The Shield," "Everwood" and "Deadwood," Kristen landed the role that would make her a household name: the titular sleuthing high schooler on "Veronica Mars." The well-received UPN/CW series was canceled after three seasons, but Kristen quickly rebounded with her narrator role on "Gossip Girl" and the role of Elle Bishop on NBC's "Heroes."
Kristen seems to also be focusing on vacation flicks of late, having most recently appeared in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and on the upcoming 2010 flick "When In Rome." But I have a feeling this gossip girl won't be taking a vacation from the big (or small) screen anytime soon. XOXO.
