Lauren Conrad might not be causing drama on "The Hills" anymore, but she's definitely stirring things up behind-the-scenes with her new clothing line.
After taking a hiatus from her own high-end line earlier this year, her "LC Lauren Conrad" collection was finally unveiled at Kohl's department stores. Lauren's fashion aspirations should come as no surprise to fans of "The Hills," who just a few years ago, watched as Lauren moved from the beaches of Laguna to L.A., where she joined Teen Vogue as an intern.
"This is what I love. It's kind of why I did everything else," she explained to MTV News the night of her Kohl's launch. "When I'm doing sketches or going through color swatches, that's the best time for me."
But that doesn't mean it was an easy road. "I've learned that something will always go wrong in production. I've learned that you should always go with your gut, and it's not important to please everybody," she said. Hmm…wonder where she first learned those lessons?
That's not all LC has been up to since her reality star days though. In addition to designing, the California girl is also executive-producing a movie based on her book, "L.A. Candy." Did we mention that the film is also being produced by Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey? You know, the guys who produced this movie called "Twilight"? Yeah, enough said!
Don't miss the rest of Lauren's old posse on "The Hills," tonight on MTV at 10 p.m. ET!
Have you bought anything yet from Lauren's Kohl's line? If yes, dish below!
