Matthew Bomer may be breaking the law on his new show "White Collar," but in real life he's just breaking our hearts thanks to his chiseled good looks and killer blue eyes. Bomer has an aura of mystery about him, and who doesn't like to unravel and get to know a tasty nugget like Matthew. That's why we'll tune in week after week and why he's this week's Hump Day Hottie.
Press play on the video below to see more of this week's Hump Day Hottie, and then keep reading for more details about him.
Vital Stats: The 32-year-old Texas native grew up with football royalty: his dad was a Dallas Cowboy. He used to act in the Alley Theatre in Houston with "Pushing Daisies" star Lee Pace. He later attended Carnegie Mellon University and, the rest is, as they say, history. We know what you're thinking ... is he taken? Well, if Perez Hilton has his information correct, then the answer is yes. He's dating Simon Halls, the CEO of PMK Public Relations.
Where you might have already seen him: He's been in a slew of big time TV projects like "Traveler," "Tru Calling" and "Chuck." He also starred in "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning." His most notable almost-role, however, was as director Brett Ratner's pick for the titular superhero in "Superman Returns." Unfortunately, the role went to Brandon Routh when Brett was replaced by Bryan Singer.
Why you should take notice of him now: He's the star of USA's newest show, "White Collar," in which he plays Neal Caffrey, a crook who breaks out of jail to see his girlfriend and then makes a deal with the feds to help them catch a thief. USA has a pretty good job of picking A-list talent for their always-entertaining shows, so we feel he's kind of a keeper.
