"90210" resident Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes, pictured right) is one hot mess. As if she hasn’t been through enough already (she fought a drug addiction and had a baby all in one year), the confused teen now has to mend her broken heart after cheating and breaking-up with "perfect" boyfriend Navid (Michael Steger). While speculation is circulating that Adrianna might fall back into her drug abusing ways, rest assured that Adrianna will be moving on with the help of her girlfriend—yes, we said girlfriend.
According to EW, Adrianna will be starting a new relationship, but this time it won’t be with any of Beverley Hill’s eligible men (like her ex and our former Hump Day Hottie Trevor Donovan!). Instead she will be exploring her options and making a real love connection with a gay West Beverly student, Gia (played by Rumer Willis).
“This isn’t a fling,” exec producer Rebecca Sinclair told the magazine. “We’re coming at this [relationship] from a genuine place and not going, ‘Let’s do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.’ This is a real aspect of teenager life that’s interesting…" She’s right about one thing, it sure will be interesting!
Rumer hasn't been seen much this season, except for in the school's newspaper meetings. And while, this straight-girl-turned-lesbian-angle has been seen before (paging: "The O.C."), who knows, maybe "90210" will turn up the volume and make it a compelling arc.
What do you think about this 90210 news? Did you ever see this love match happening?
