Entertainment Weekly was lucky enough to conduct a series of roundtable interviews with the cast of "Eclipse" during their last week of filming. For those of you unfamiliar with the journalistic term, a roundtable is an interview set up where a number of people are present, sometimes even at a round table. In most situations, this occurs with one celebrity and a number of journalistic, but in this case (hence the "lucky") it was one journalist and Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
In a recent post on their Hollywood Insider blog, EW said they asked Kristen during the interview about the endless rumors surrounding her and onscreen beau Rob. Her response was apparently not what they expected.
“I probably would’ve answered it if people hadn’t made such a big deal about it,” she said. “But I’m not going to give the fiending an answer. I know that people are really funny about ‘Well, you chose to be an actor, why don’t you just f—ing give your whole life away?! Can I have your firstborn child?’”
Bitter much, Kristen? But the response seems to be well coordinated with Rob's recent comment to Vanity Fair that he and KStew are not boyfriend and girlfriend.
Apparently Rob tried to calm Kristen down at this point, trying to "softly interject with philosophical statements about the need for an actor to hold onto his individuality." But Kristen wasn't done yet.
“I’ve thought about this a lot,” she said. “There’s no answer that’s not going to tip you one way or the other. Think about every hypothetical situation: ‘Okay, we are. We aren’t. I’m a lesbian.’ I’m just trying to keep something.”
“If people started asking me if I was dating Taylor, I’d be like ‘F— off!’ I would answer the exact same way,” she added. Apparently Rob then glanced over at Taylor and said, “Me too.”
What do you think of Kristen's comments? Valid?
