Could Ryan Reynolds be Hollywood's new go to guy for romantic comedies? Sure seems like it! The "Definitely, Maybe" actor proved his rom com mettle after starring in this year's "The Proposal", alongside Sandra Bullock, which turned out to be the highest grossing romantic comedy of all time (talk about a resume builder). Now, according to Hollywood Wiretap, he's all set to star in "TMI," a movie centered around the idea that while honesty might be the best policy in a relationship, "too much information" usually isn't (yeah... we couldn't agree more!).
"The House Bunny" star Anna Faris is slated to play Ryan's other-half in the flick (which he's executive producing, by the way) and we couldn't be more excited to see the comedic chemistry between the two. Plus, both are newlyweds (him to Scarlett Johansson, and her to Chris Pratt), so we bet they know a thing or too about relationship dynamics.
Speaking of Anna, it seems like the original "Scary Movie" star might have a very busy year ahead of her. Besides her role in "TMI," Wiretap also reports that Anna is also in talks to play Robin Williams' daughter in "Wedding Banned," a movie about a divorced couple who kidnap their child on her wedding day to keep her from making the same mistakes they did.
We're excited for both projects…especially since we've been in dire need of a good romantic comedy lately!
