December is going to be here before you can utter the words, "jingle bells," but last night, the temperature on the red carpet at Us Weekly's Hot Hollywood party was exactly that — HOT! The event, which celebrated the magazine's annual issue in which the best of the best in Tinseltown are honored for being on the pulse of pop culture this year, was held at the Voyeur club in L.A. (Does anyone else find it oddly fitting that the name of the club also stands for a term that describes "a fascinated observer of scandalous events"?) An abundance of well-known faces turned up for the big night, including some that were, uh, a little random, like Levi Johnston.
Not so random, however, were the cameos by Kristin Cavallari and her MTV cohort, Whitney Port. Kristin, who was nominated as "Comeback of the Year" for her return to reality TV with "The Hills," wore a Dolce & Gabbana black corset, a Philip Lam skirt with a black/gold design on it and shoes that we find to be a tad questionable as we don't like the way they cut off her leg. Whitney's vintage sheath however, was adorable and perfect for the upcoming holiday season — sparkles, gold Guiseppe Zanotti heels and just the right amount of skin.
Speaking of holiday season, Adam Lambert could certainly rock his metallic silver pants to a few Christmas caroling events. It's only fitting for the singer to sparkle though, as he was voted "Glam God of the Year" by Us Weekly. Adam's fellow "Idol" pal Kris Allen was also given an award: "Victor of the Year," to which Adam explained to MTV News was a fitting because Kris is "confident in his own skin." Kris paid the compliment back by telling us what it was that makes Adam so darn sexy. "It's the hair, man," Kris said. "That's what all the ladies like, the hair."
Eliza Dushku seemed to have taken a style cue from both Adam Lambert and James Bond by wearing black from head to toe. Perhaps she was mourning (like most of us are) the loss of "Dollhouse"? The series got her nominated by Us as the "Cult Fave of the Year." The "Employee Of The Year" (Jenna Fischer), meanwhile chose a Max Azria dress and Monrow jacket.
