Much like Miley Cyrus' cameo in the sequel to "Sex and the City: The Movie" was once one a big mystery, we've now unearthed details about another thespian's (this time it's an Academy Award winner!) guest stint.
In October, People reported that Penelope Cruz would be appearing in the film (which is slated to be released in 2010) as a banker, and while we can't exactly confirm if her financial abilities are going to be highlighted, we can shed more light on the logistics behind her part. "I'm in it for very, very little time," she told MTV News during a press event for her next film "Nine." "It's a collaboration that I did because I am a huge fan of the show and the movie and Sarah Jessica Parker."
Not quite satisfied with that tiny amount of information, we tried to get her to spill some more. "They won't let me say who I am, but I don't play myself," she admitted. There's been rumors, however, that she was seen filming a scene in which she looked awfully flirty with Carrie's man, Mr. Big (Chris Noth), but she insists her character would do no such thing. "It's not like that, [but] the scene is with the two of them."
Our fact-finding mission? Uh, somewhat accomplished. Until we get more deets on this case, let us know what you think Penelope's storyline will be.
