As we count down to "New Moon" finally hitting theaters (four days to go....well...three if you're planning on hitting up a midnight show like us) the stars of the "Twilight" series are gearing up for tonight's big Los Angeles premiere (we'll be live blogging, so check back with us at 8pm EST!) While Alex Meraz heads into tonight's festivities relaxed and ready, explaining, "Just getting outta the shower about to eat my WHEATIES I'm gonna need it today." Peter Facinelli opted to take a more stressful approach, tweeting, "Many people wonder what celebs do the morning of their movie premiere. I would like know 2, seeing how I'm at the DMV renewing my license." "Aliens in the Attic" star Carter Jenkins might not be a Cullen or a wolfpack member, but he still gets to party at tonight's big event, bragging, "Goodbye concrete jungle. Headed home. Then going to the New Moon premiere tonight."

While the eyes of Hollywood fix themselves on today's impending hysteria, there was still plenty going on around the Twitterverse. Just ask the Jonas Brothers, who reached a Twitter benchmark today, announcing, "Thanks to all of our incredible fans, we now have over 1 Million followers on Twitter! You all rock!!!- JB." And, it may not be an official holiday, "The Office" star Rainn Wilson declared, "Today I dedicate to Lady Gaga." So, Lady Gaga (pictured) we hope you enjoy your very own day (courtesy of Dwight Schrute!)

Check out the rest of today's best celebrity tweets, including more "Twilight" excitement: Julianne Hough's red carpet excitement, Dakota Fanning's pre-premiere scare (thanks, Ellen!) and Stephanie Pratt's embarrassing love for Edward. Don't forget you can follow us all week @hollywoodcrush to get up-to-the-minute updates on all your "New Moon" needs!

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Demi Lovato’s been living in the fast lane lately. She released an album in July and successfully collaborated with the Jonas Brothers on a hilarious music video. She also worked with the three bros again on the sequel to the Disney hit movie, "Camp Rock 2"! She’s a surefire hit and a surefire hit deserves a great party, right? Of course! Demi was spotted at her huge graduation/birthday/coming out bash over the weekend at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.

I know what you’re thinking. Quite the party, huh? That's not the weird part though. Her birthday was August 20th and nearly three months later she's celebrating still. I wish I could have three months of birthday celebration!

To get a closer look at Demi's big night, click the picture above. After the jump, check out Britney Spears with a new beau.

Just because it's not October anymore doesn't mean Ellen DeGeneres won't scare the bejesus out of you when you appear on her show. That's what Dakota Fanning learned when she went on "Ellen" Monday afternoon to promote the release of "New Moon." As Ellen asked Dakota's opinion on whether vampires are real, a man dressed as Dracula snuck up behind her with a pair of fake fangs and scared the crap out of her. After the initial shock wore off, Dakota proved to be a good sport and laughed throughout the insta-replay. "You're never safe here," said Ellen.

Before the scare, Dakota did have time to talk about how much she enjoyed playing evil vampire Jane in "New Moon." "It's really kind of one of the first times I've played the bad character, the villain figure in a movie. It was just really great to get to have the red contact lenses and the vampire makeup and get to have an evil persona, a creepy persona."

Robert Buckley literally finds himself in some marginally hot water on tonight's "One Tree Hill." In a teaser that aired last week, Dan Scott (Paul Johansson) is seen drowning Nate's hottie sports agent, Clay (Robert). And, it seems that our most recent Hump Day Hottie is taking this violent turn all in stride.

"Is he drowning? Or is he perhaps giving Clay a swimming lesson?" Robert jokedto us about the events that look to be unfolding tonight after Clay fails to follow through on getting Nate (James Lafferty) a basketball contract. "It could be tough love. No. I'm just kidding. That would be a terrible swimming lesson."

For longtime fans of the series, Dan's violent tendencies won't come as a surprise, but for newer fans this may seem like an interesting road for daddy dearest (who's now a supposed self-help guru) to take. Plus, it raises the question: Is Dan really reformed?

When you think Broadway superstar the common conception begins somewhere around Judy Garland and ends closer to Idina Menzel. Maybe the last person you would consider to star in an upcoming production would be an actress recently cut from a revision of an old TV show (paging: "Melrose Place"). Ashlee Simpson, while a successful artists for many years, has not exactly maintained a reputation as an all-star live performer, which makes her new lead role in Broadway’s "Chicago" a little surprising. But, since she's a veteran of the show (three years ago, she starred as Roxie Hart at the Cambridge Theatre in London's West End), we're going to cut her a little slack and hope that she can razzle dazzle us in the U.S. as well.

"I'm honored to be reprising my role as Chicago's Roxie Hart, returning to the stage and joining this amazing cast,"the 25-year-old mom and wife of punk rock star Pete Wentz said in a statement to MTV News. "Being on Broadway is a childhood dream come true.”

"New Moon" has invaded every part of my life, so why not my stomach too? That's about the only explanation I can find for why I decided to head just south of Times Square during lunch to hit up our local Burger King and get my journalistic hooks into some collectible "Twilight" franchise cards (click on the photo below to see more).

What this required is purchasing a value meal of BK Burger Shots, six mini burgers I can only describe as warmish pillows of burger-like mush that will give you both nightmares and indigestion. But I wasn't there for the 32 grams of fat, the 105 milligrams of cholesterol or the 1290 milligrams of sodium with which these burgers gifted my arteries. I was there for the cards. And I came away disappointed.

The 19-year-old singer-songwriter has yet again put her own personal twang on an established industry. First the pop charts (and the CMAs!), and now this coming month, the cover of InStyle magazine. For the first time ever on a fashion magazine, a cover story will appear in 3-D, visible only through your own personal webcam. So before you start reading Taylor Swift’s article — and after your done skyping — check out her 3-d image (which we'll give you a hint, involves snow!).

Besides her classic country curls, Taylor has many of her own thoughts to share with the readers of InStyle. She even touches on what most readers probably want to know about: her work with fellow young hottie Taylor Lautner! The two Taylors worked on Swift’s first feature film called "Valentine’s Day," and as you can expect she explains it can get kind of confusing having the same name on set — its always "no, not you, the other one!" So the solution the cover girl came up with? "‘How about you guys call me Swifty and call him Taylor?'" Swifty? We think it’ll stick.

If you're keeping tally of where the "Twilight" trinity's alliances lie in the embittered Team Jacob vs. Team Edward debate, you may need to do a recount. Sure, it's pretty safe to assume beefy Taylor Lautner is firmly in the Team Jacob camp (duh!). And last year Robert Pattinson surprisingly admitted his preference for the wolf as well, saying at a Q&A session, "I'd go with Jacob. Jacob is way more interesting." But then there's Kristen Stewart who seems to be having a hard time making up her mind.

Previously reported to be a Team Jacob acolyte, the 19-year-old may be a flip-flopper. "I think the whole point of the story is that there isn't a wrong choice," the diplomatic actress told MTV News during a press junket in Beverly Hills. "I go back and forth from being Team Edward and Team Jacob all the time. That's the story," she continued.

Remember that picture below? We bet you do! It was taken at last year's "Twilight" premiere in L.A. Tonight — and almost exactly a year to the day — that same cast (plus a few red-eyed and muscular additions) will be strutting their stuff on the red carpet again as they usher in the highly, highly anticipated second movie from Stephenie Meyer's verrrryyyy popular (yeah, the woman was just on "Oprah!") novels, "New Moon."

If you're not currently camping out in line waiting for Kristen, Robert, Taylor and Co. to make their grand entrances, then make sure to get your own premiere experience by coming back here to Hollywood Crush starting at 8 p.m. ET for our LIVE BLOG. MTV News' Larry Carroll plus a team of "Twilight"-trained professionals will be reporting live from the carpet, so don't miss a beat!

It’s called "Leap Year." It only comes around once every four years. The reasoning for a leap year is to keep our calendar synchronized with the astronomical or seasonal calendar. So February 29th is added to the calendar making 366 days in a year. After what seemed to be the inevitable, this upcoming year we finally get a film about this odd occurrence. Who would have thought a romantic film could be made about a leap year?

Amy Adams portrays Anna, someone who seemingly has everything in control. After a hint from her friend, she is expecting a marriage proposal from her boyfriend (Adam Scott from "Step Brothers") only any day now. One night she goes out to dinner only to receive a pair of earrings to utter disappointment. Anna’s boyfriend then departs to Dublin, Ireland for a business trip.
