The latest Jessica Simpson dating rumor is just plain kind of wacky. No, she's not back together with Tony Romo, John Mayer or even Nick Lachey. There's rumors floating around the internet that the pop star and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan are kind of into one another.
E! News reported that Jess is "smitten" with Billy, but that her friends think he's too old for her. (He's 42, she's 29.) "He's just another in an endless string of Jessica's boyfriends," a source told the website. "They think he's too old for her. No one takes any of her boyfriends seriously anymore because she has had so many. They're sick of all of them being 'the one.' "
Although reps have yet to confirm the pairing, we've found photos (like the one above) of the pair leaving a New York City hotel together. Billy's was walking a few steps behind her in the pic, but he is clearly apart of the entourage.
