Jessica Simpson's Next Venture: The Wedding Ring Business?

It seems like her stroke of bad luck in love hasn’t jaded Jessica Simpson. According to Fox News, a source close to the sultry songstress reports that she plans to team up with celebrity jeweler Pascal Mouawad on her own jewelry line, in which she wants to include wedding rings.

"Jess and her mom are really pushing the wedding rings. Jess wants her own line but Pascal isn’t so keen on that,” the source told Fox. "He wants to work with her, but definitely doesn’t think wedding rings would be appropriate for Jessica."

Mouawad is no stranger to celebrity design teams. In November 2008, he collaborated with Nicole Richie on her House of Harlow brand and he's also worked with model and "Project Runway" host Heidi Klum on her collection. It seems as though Jess’ interest was sparked when she attended a party at Mouawad’s home for An-Ya, a Russian pop singer signed to Joe Simpson's record label. While there, she apparently dropped $10,000 on a 5-carat ring from his Black and White Diamond Collection.

Could this new endeavor mean that Jess is getting over her lost loves and moving on once and for all? With all the rumors swirling about her and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan are dating, could Jess be planning on not just designing wedding rings, but wearing one soon? We’ll just have to wait and see.
