If you've seen the "Be Italian" trailer for Rob Marshall's film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, "Nine," you'll have seen Kate Hudson belting out the popular tune from the musical. Turns out Kate has always been a bit of a singer, or so she told MTV News.
"I write songs and I sing and I do all that, and I always have, I've just never had the confidence or the desire to [sing] until I worked with Rob," she said. "Once I had somebody sort of pushing you, is you feel like, Oh, this feels so good."
So does this mean there will be a Kate Hudson solo album?
"My album hits 2010," Kate joked with a laugh, but surprisingly went on to elaborate the answer.
"It's funny because people always say,' Well you sing, right?' and I go, 'Yeah,' but you kind of go, 'Oh people don't want to hear these things because you're an actor, you know, and it's a strange crossover,'" she said. "I hope to do another musical. So I don't know if I'd ever do it do it but I do know that I hope to do another musical."
