It was a very Merry Christmas indeed for "One Tree Hill" star Jana Kramer and her "Prom Night" costar Johnathon Schaech. The pair got engaged over the holiday weekend.
He made the announcement on his Twitter page Christmas Day, tweeting, "Engaged to the beautiful Jana Kramer." Meanwhile, she took to her Twitter to make the announcement as well, writing, "Flying back to LA with my FIANCE!!!!!!!!!" Earlier that week (on December 23, just a day after she got engaged) she announced she had news but didn't elaborate what the news was.
Jonathon, 40, and Jana, 26, met while filming the 2008 horror flick, "Prom Night." He told People about the December 22 engagement, saying, "It was the best present ever. It was the happiest moment of my life… I can't wait to make Jana my wife and have a family." He proposed to his bride-to-be while on vacation in his hometown of Edgewood, Maryland.
The actor was previously married to Christina Applegate, but the two divorced in 2008. And, Jana recently told Hollywood Crush that she didn't need to crush on any of her hunky "One Tree Hill" co-stars since she had found her perfect guy in Jonathon. But, she was willing to play along just for fun. "I love Austin [Nichols] — he plays Julian. He is amazing," Jana said. "I mean, I have an amazing boyfriend so I don’t look at these guys like that, but that would be my catch."
Well, congrats to Jana and Johnathon! When should we expect an invitation in the mail?
