The Simpson sisters have been through a lot, and much of their own personal highs and lows have played out in the public spotlight. While Jessica typically receives most of the attention, Ashlee has been making headlines lately, specifically with her acting career, and Jess has been by her side, supporting her every step of the way.
Ashlee recently made her Broadway debut in "Chicago" on November 30, and Jessica not only attended opening night, but according to People, she's since checked out the show four more times! "Roxie was all Heart!" Jessica tweeted of her sister's performance in the musical. "Watching her up on that grandiose stage made me the proudest sister in the world. I love ya honey, I love ya!. Grrrrrrr"
By the second night, Jess took to twitter again to express how proud she was of Ashlee. "Night #2
I'm so proud!! Butterflies all over again!!!" Jess attended another two performances – clearly, she was hooked!
But Ashlee’s acting career has not been smooth sailing. After a quick stint on the CW’s "Melrose Place," Ashlee was written out of the script, and Jess was there, once again, to support her little sis. Jessica tweeted then: "CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with, but this? thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press."
