Just as they were named one of MTV News' favorite couples of 2009, it seems that Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner have called it quits! Sources are telling US Weekly that the Taylors, who began their romance after shooting "Valentine's Day" together over the summer, are no longer dating.
"It wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends," a friend of Swift tells the magazine.

Sure Carrie Underwood got some "a pair of pink warm fuzzy socks to keep my tootsies nice and toasty" for Christmas but let's not forget she also got herself a beautiful engagement ring courtesy of her new fiancé, hockey player Mike Fisher.
"I think you all know what Santa left under the tree for me this year...a fiancé! Woo hoo!" she wrote on her fansite, reports US Weekly, adding that her dog, Little Ace "is finally going to have a dad! We all couldn't be happier!!!"

Not only are former flames Jude Law and Sienna Miller fresh from the holiday season, the two of them have something else to celebrate — their birthdays. The two have reportedly rekindled their romance right on the eve of their respective birthdays, as Sienna turned 28 yesterday and Jude turns 37 today.
At least one part of their celebration plans are currently known as the pair was photographed vacationing together with three of Jude's children. Based on the photos, it seems that the two are happily on their way towards reconciliation.

While "It's Complicated" may not have ruled the box office over Christmas weekend ("Avatar," "Sherlock Holmes" and those pesky chipmunks brought in the most holiday cheer), one of its stars seemed to be getting a lot of attention on Twitter today. Lake Bell, who plays Alec Baldwin's second wife in the film, got props from friend Ben Stiller, who tweeted, "Thank you @lakebell who got #StillerstrongHeadbands. NOT$300! Just $12 . And they're absorbent. And help kids in Haiti. Everybody wins." Though Lake's Twitter account is not verified as legit, that's not stopping actor Carter Jenkins who excitedly posted, "Woah. @lakebell is on twitter. Hi buddy! Remember me?"
It seems those who weren't packed into movie theaters over the past few days were still shopping up a storm, though not all were very happy about it. Tennis star Andy Roddick (pictured) griped about a certain post-Christmas sale, "was at target this morning, and the only shirt on the clearance rack was one that i had bought 3 months ago.... how do i take this?" Elsewhere, "Star Trek" actor Simon Pegg marveled, "I am in the Christian Louboutin store with my wife. She is behaving like I would if I was in a shop filled with working lightsabers."
Check out what else had celebs tweeting today, including reality star Brad Goreski's "good" luck, Rachelle Lefevre's Disney diet and stars celebrating Kwanzaa. Don't forget you can follow us all the time @hollywoodcrush to get all the latest news out of Hollywood!

With its charming song-and-dance numbers and soapy plot lines, FOX's musical series "Glee" has won over hearts in America and spawned more than a few die-hard Gleeks (Hollywood Crush included!), which makes the fact that it is just now debuting in Europe that much harder to believe. Well, to ensure a splashy start for the new "foreign" series, one Italian station came up with an ingenious (and very apropos) way to promote our friends from William McKinley High School—a flash mob!
On December 21, during the height of the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle, a group of performers dressed as shoppers invaded the Galleria Alberto Sordi mall in Rome, according to The Wrap, to shimmy and shake to three of New Directions' show-stopping numbers: Journey's "Don't Stop Believin,'" Kanye West's "Gold Digger" and Queen's "Somebody to Love." What seemingly begins with a handful of people burgeons into at least 100 performers Glee-fully dancing to the tunes. And is it just us, or does the lead female dancer in green look an awful lot like an Italian Lea Michele?
Check out the full video on Fox Italy's video channel.
What do you think about the "Glee" flash mob?

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Though the weather outside was frightful, Sarah Jessica Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick kept their six-month old twins Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge toasty warm, bundled up in cute pink hoodies while the foursome were out-and-about in New York City yesterday. It's been a busy month for the actress who's been promoting her romantic comedy "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" alongside the always-dashing Hugh Grant. And just last week, the first trailer for "Sex and the City 2" had us pining for a cabana and a chilled cocktail.
To get a better look at the twins' pinchable cheeks, click on the photo above. After the jump, find out which famous cheerleader was out supporting the Lakers on Christmas Day.

Now that Santa and Rudolph are sipping Mai Tais on a Bahamian beach, it's time to focus on the next big holiday on our calendar. Well, um, oops, we forgot about New Year's. So, okay, the next, next big holiday, which is of course Valentine's Day. And along with the Whitman Samplers and sneeze-worthy bouquets, we can also look forward to the release of the much-anticipated rom-com "Valentine's Day" a few days beforehand on February 12. We've already dished about the first two trailers (read our thoughts on the first one and the second one), but the "VD" marketing department has been working overtime, churning out another set of clips in the form of a featurette (which rumor has it, was leaked).
Most notably, the featurette (check it out over at Ace Showbiz) includes a new song from star Taylor Swift called "Today Was a Fairytale," which will be included on the film's soundtrack, along with a second song "Jump Then Fall," to be released February 9, reports celebrity-mania.com. Though the featurette doesn't divulge any new new plot points (or anymore Taylor-on-Taylor makeout sessions), after the jump are a few more takeaways we can report:

It’s a sad day for daytime television (especially for fans of daytime TV who love to learn about off-the-wall, introspective, and/or heartwarming topics that range from nose picking obsessions to child brides). After five seasons, Tyra Banks is calling it quits and ending her Daytime Emmy-winning talk show in spring 2010. The announcement came as a shock to fans, but they should be happy for Tyra, who has big plans for the future.
"My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” Tyra told People. "This will be the last season of 'The Tyra Show,'” she continued. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.”

It was a very Merry Christmas indeed for "One Tree Hill" star Jana Kramer and her "Prom Night" costar Johnathon Schaech. The pair got engaged over the holiday weekend.
He made the announcement on his Twitter page Christmas Day, tweeting, "Engaged to the beautiful Jana Kramer." Meanwhile, she took to her Twitter to make the announcement as well, writing, "Flying back to LA with my FIANCE!!!!!!!!!" Earlier that week (on December 23, just a day after she got engaged) she announced she had news but didn't elaborate what the news was.

If you managed to spend your Christmas weekend away from nine-foot-tall blue aliens and instead with the world's most famous sleuth, you'd know that the late-blooming, scene-stealing, best romance of 2009 came from Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes." And no, Rachel McAdams is surprisingly not a part of that equation.
Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law hit pitch-perfect chemistry as the title Sherlock Holmes and his partner, Watson. And while in the movie Sherlock is definitely the girl in the relationship (Those temper tantrums! That manipulation!), MTV News had to ask the actors themselves who they thought would be donning the dress of the two men.
