We know that Hanukkah is eight days, but given the fact that only five of them happen during the work week, we've decided to keep to that number when we created a list of our favorite Hanukkah-celebrating guys in Hollywood. So enjoy our final Hanukkah Hotties as we look back on some of the coolest things he did this past year.
He may have the played the hottest freak ever on "Freaks and Geeks," but James Franco is a certified hot geek in real life. When he's not making choice flicks — ranging from the hilarious ("Pineapple Express") to the more serious ("Milk") — he moonlights as a college student and soap opera superstar. Plus, once a year he lights the menorah.

Vital Stats: James Franco grew up in Palo Alto, Ca. and the 31-year-old has attended many prestigious universities ranging from UCLA to NYU. Brains and beauty makes James the complete package.

There’s no doubt fans of "Sex and the City" are a tad more ... well, adult. That’s why Sarah Jessica Parker finds it hard to believe that people are claiming her latest fragrance, "Twilight," was named after the popular "Twilight Saga" series.
SJP insisted that the her fragrance's name was purely coincidental as she believed (falsely) that its debut in February preceded the movie's debut (though we all know that the books and the movie had been out much longer). "Those books are for younger readers, right?" she asked MTV News while promoting "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" "I have not read any [of the books]. I feel like I will save those the way I save 'Harry Potter.' So when James Wilkie is ready to read 'Twilight,' then I'll jump in with him, or when Loretta and Tabitha are ready to read them."

Solving head-scratching mysteries is all in a day's work for Jolly Ol' England's most infamous crime-fighting duo. But one quandary that didn't require much sleuthing was the dress code at last evening's "Sherlock Holmes" premiere. Elementary, my dear Crushers, black and white were the order of the night at the film's New York City debut.
Well, not everyone opted for ebony or ivory. Sherlock himself, Robert Downey Jr., channeled a modern-day incarnation of the sleuth in a dapper brown tweed suit and pink tie, while his right-hand man Jude Law opted for an all-black ensemble accented with just a touch of burgundy by his pocket square. Costar Rachel McAdams also rocked the midnight shade in a Jasmini Di Milo bustier top and high-waisted trousers, which seemed a touch casual for the big event. We liked her gray asymmetrical Andrew GN gown from the film's London premiere much better.

FROM MTV NEWS: Which stars had the biggest year? All this week, we'll be unveiling our top nine men and women of 2009, counting down to the #1 man and woman on Friday.
After a couple of years in which our young starlets did just about everything wrong, in 2009, Taylor Swift showed the ladies how it's supposed to be done by sweeping up a shelf-load of awards, notching the year's biggest-selling album (Fearless) and surviving the most notorious awards-show bum-rush in modern memory with her signature grace, dignity and class.

We all know we’d die to look like Beyoncé, but imagine being able to smell like her? Well, come February, we can! B is set to release her first fragrance, "Beyoncé Heat," and according to WWD, it is her fans' passion that helped her spark the development of the new scent.
"What inspires me [both in music and product creation] is love, passion — something that makes me want to be better, to do more,” she told WWD. "Knowing that I have people who look to me — because thank God I’ve had so many great opportunities — I don’t take it for granted. Young girls can see me, and think, ‘Wow. Maybe if I work hard and I’m focused, I can do the same thing.’ And they absolutely can. It’s not just about me being a singer. It’s about knowing that I have people who look at my life, and to know I can inspire them inspires me."

December 18th is a star-studded occasion when it comes to celebrating birthdays. Today, a trio of prominent celebrities are celebrating their big days — none other than Brad Pitt, Katie Holmes and Christina Aguilera.
As the male portion of Brangelina, Brad Pitt is a Hollywood heart-throb best known for his roles in "Fight Club," the "Ocean's Eleven" movies and his Academy Award nominated performance in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." But his most important movie role to date is undoubtedly "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," where he met and fell in love with co-star and current romantic partner Angelina Jolie. Hopefully Brad gets to enjoy some more movie success during the upcoming award circuit with "Inglourious Basterds,", the World War II movie he starred in for director Quentin Tarantino.

Pack your bags, Team Jacob fans. We're taking a little vacay to Mexico. The 17-year-old has been tapped for the thriller "Cancun."

There’s something about those Kardashian girls. Kim first broke out onto the scene a few years back, with Khloe and Kourtney following suit shortly thereafter (all of which eventually earned them a #9 slot on MTV News' Women Of The Year list). But now one of the youngest members of the clan is stepping into the spotlight. Half-sister Kendall Jenner (she's the daughter of Kris and Bruce Jenner and also appears on the E! reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians") will be the new face of a campaign for Forever 21's Twist collection.
The 14-year-old's photo shoot for the line, which is titled "Rocker Babes with a Twist," will hit stores at the end of January 2010. According to a press release, the themed-collection channels "rockabilly style" and "mixes animal prints with polka dots, plaids and rock-steady graphics, all anchored by a retro Fifties color palette of blacks, reds and blues." The teenage mini-diva looks gorgeous with her long, dark, locks, porcelain skin and flawless, vintage-inspired makeup. Hmm, seems like Kendall’s been going through her older sisters' makeup stash!

If you've seen the "Be Italian" trailer for Rob Marshall's film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, "Nine," you'll have seen Kate Hudson belting out the popular tune from the musical. Turns out Kate has always been a bit of a singer, or so she told MTV News.
"I write songs and I sing and I do all that, and I always have, I've just never had the confidence or the desire to [sing] until I worked with Rob," she said. "Once I had somebody sort of pushing you, is you feel like, Oh, this feels so good."
