FROM MTV.COM:When Katy Perry and Russell Brand graced the red carpet together at the Pre-Grammy Gala on Saturday night, they were in high spirits, laughing and joking around as they made their way down the press line. The couple, who announced their engagement earlier this year, seemed to find rumors of their impending parenthood to be the funniest joke of the night.

"I was briefly pregnant, but when it was born it was such a horrible little thing we left it in a parking lot," Brand told MTV News, while Perry seemed genuinely surprised by his response. "Let it fend for himself!"

For weeks, Hollywood's thespians have been a busy bunch, from a slew of awards ceremonies to the Sundance Film Festival. But this weekend, the spotlight will be on the music industry's best and brightest with the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday. And, unsurprisingly, Twitter was humming today with Grammy preparations. Paramore singer Hayley Williams spent a little extra time in the shower this morning, tweeting, "Well.... finally shaved my legs. I figured with the Grammys and all this weekend it was probably a good idea." Meanwhile, model and "Dancing With the Stars" alum Joanna Krupa decided to get her swag on. "Getting ready to go to the grammys gifting suite for kiss fm with sis," she wrote. Sadly, not all of our favorite divas will be at the ceremony. "Unfortunately I will be missing the grammy's this year because of European tour (production rehearsals) sadness :(" Kelly Clarkson tweeted.

Thankfully, the forecast for Sunday's fete is much less gloomy than it was for the Golden Globes a few weeks ago, but for celebs around the rest of the country, the outlook wasn't as sunny. And not all of them were prepared. "Just landed in Nashville. It's snowing and I forgot my coat. Good thing Vampires are supposed to be cold," wrote "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli. "Star Trek" star Simon Pegg was more worried about his furry friend, writing, "Walking my freshly shorn dog. It's freezing. I'm worried she might be cold. They went in close around her derrier. No furry knickers now."

Sure the Jonas Brothers aren't breaking up, but that doesn't mean that Nick Jonas isn't mulling other career options in addition to his already flourishing acting and music careers. So, when he co-hosted "Live with Regis and Kelly" earlier this month he got the chance to try a talk show host hat on for size.

But, as it turns out it didn't fit him just yet. "I thought about getting my own talk show before. I think it'd be fun. I think that ['Regis and Kelly'] was a good test and let me know that maybe I'll stick to music," he told MTV News earlier this month about the possibility of hosting his own show. "I had a great time and people said I did alright, but it definitely was a little bit out of my element. I had a great time and it was an honor they asked me to be apart of it."

It's no secret that what I think is the coolest element of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park, over Ollivander's Wand Shop and Hogwarts Castle, is the fact that visitors will be able to sample J.K. Rowling-approved butterbeer at The Hog's Head or Three Broomsticks restaurants.

I am not alone in this passion. In the special Wizarding World of Harry Potter featurette on the "Half-Blood Prince" DVD, Michael Gambon (who plays Dumbledore, for you uninitiated) said, "The first thing I do when I get there, I'm going to go to The Hog's Head pub. I'm going to order myself eight pints of butterbeer."

Over the past six seasons, "The Office" has had a number of great guest stars that would be hard—that's what she said—to beat. We're thinking of folks like Oscar-nominee Amy Ryan and bombshell Jessica Alba, who made a memorable cameo in a boot-legged video alongside Jack Black. But when we heard that Golden Globe host and series creator Ricky Gervais' dream guest star was Ryan Gosling, well, we nearly melted. Now if only Ryan were game. When we caught up with the 29-year-old while promoting his new flick "Blue Valentine" at the Sundance Film Festival, we just had to ask.

"I love it. He's my hero," Ryan said regarding Ricky and the proposed cameo. "He was like, 'Yeah, I think Ryan would be the perfect guy to play a total psycho, to go into his office and kill everybody," he added with a laugh. "Yeah, anytime. He's the best."

Watch out, Port Charles, James Franco's stint on "General Hospital" is not over. James revealed that while he doesn't have plans to appear on any other soaps, he would be returning to "GH" this spring.

"Other soaps have not called. The 'General Hospital' thing is not over. It will be one more very special episode that we will film in May in New York, so that's an ongoing thing," disclosed the actor, while promoting his film "Howl" at the Sundance Film Festival.

In case you weren't watching "GH" for the past couple of months, James Franco's character is named, well, Franco. He's a serial killer and an artist, and his art is all about his murders.

When Kristen Stewart takes a role, she puts her entire self into it. For "New Moon," she said she got so into Bella's character that the big break-up scene with Robert Pattinson's Edward, nearly killed her, and now she is back to throwing herself into her character head-first.

For "Welcome to the Rileys," her second film to debut at Sundance this year, Kristen plays a stripper who meets a troubled man (James Gandolfini) who tries to rescue her and also use her to replace his dead daughter. In order to truly get in character, Kristen did what all good actors are supposed to do: researched her character.

Elle magazine recently sat down with "The City" star Olivia Palermo and her boyfriend, model Johannes Huebl for an interview for their February issue feature, "How Do I Love Thee?" On Monday, Thierry Coup (vice president of creative development at Universal and head honcho of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter) posted on his Twitter the first photo of Wizarding World's Hogwarts Castle. In the picture, the castle looks massive and like it came right out from the set of the movies. But since we know looks can be deceiving (like Cinderella's Castle at Disney World), we asked Coup today when we had a chance to talk to him some specifics about the structure.

"I can tell you when you stand in front of it, it appears to be about 700 feet tall. Truly, you cannot tell how big it is, it's just impossible," he said. "The castle itself, of course we couldn't make it 700 feet tall, but it's definitely about 15 stories tall. It just feels like it goes forever. It's gigantic."
