For an actor who performed his own stunts in a movie called "Fighting," it's no surprise Channing Tatum has a few battle wounds under his belt. Except, that his most painful injury was, quite literally, under his belt when he received a nasty, gnarly burn... down there. The "Dear John" star talks about that miserable injury, his stripper past and lobbying for fat roles in the January issue of Details .
While filming the battle epic "The Eagle of the Ninth" in Scotland last October, the handsome actor had to spend hours wading through ice cold water for one of his scenes. A wet suit wasn't enough to keep the cast and crew warm so they took to pouring boiling hot water mixed with river water down their suits. "We were finally done shooting for the day, and one of the crew guys asks if I want to warm up before I go," Chan recalled. "I'm like, Nah, I'm good. And then I thought, Why not? Thing is, he'd forgotten to dilute the kettle water. So he poured scalding water down my suit. And I was trying to pull the suit away from my body to somehow get away from the boiling water, and the more I pulled the suit away, the lower the water went. It just went straight down and pretty much burned the skin off the head of my d--k.
It was the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life," he continued. "I'm good... now. Now my penis is fantastic! One hundred percent recovered. Put me back in the game, Coach."

It's obvious from his willingness to show a reporter pictures of his singed member, that the 29-year-old isn't one for hiding things, including his past as an exotic male dancer. "I've been wanting to talk about this forever!" Channing swears. "You have publicists and managers saying no, and I'm like, Mmm-mmm, it's gonna come out. I never wanted to hide it. I met some of the most insane characters. I'm gonna make a movie about it. I've talked to a couple of directors."
If Channing choses to star in the male version of "Showgirls," he'll no doubt be flaunting that famously fine physique we've come to love in movies like "She's the Man" and "G.I. Joe." But the hunk admits that in a few years, he'll be ready for roles that allow for, well, rolls. "I'm gonna give it five more years and then say, 'Get me some fat roles, boys!'"
