What could be better than looking at "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner with his shirt off? How about watching him run around and get all sweaty? Oh yes, we’re totally serious.

Taylor has signed on to play in the fourth annual DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl, a flag-football game that serves as part of the weekend festivities surrounding the Super Bowl. According to the Direct TV, the game will feature former NFL pros Troy Aikman and Warren Moon serving as quarterbacks of the two teams.

If you'd heard of Katie Holmes' new film "The Extra Man" long before its Sundance Film Festival debut this week, it's probably thanks to those rascally paparazzi constantly snapping shots on the New York-based set. It seems one could hardly read a blog or tabloid last February without seeing pics from the production. While some movies nearly come to a grinding halt because of the flash bulbs (ahem, "Remember Me"), Katie credits her directors and costars with helping her to remain on point.

"I'm able to focus," Katie told MTV News when asked if the paparazzi distracted her. "It was wonderful because Bob and Shari are such great directors and Paul Dano is such a great actor and Kevin Klein and John C. Reilly. We were all a team and trying to make it a great movie. So it was really all about that."

Kudos to Katie and Co. for working through a tough situation. Perhaps they can be consultants on Robert Pattinson's next film.

We average American audiences still have another two months to wait until "The Runaways" hits theaters, but those lucky enough to have attended Sundance this past week already had their first look during the film's premiere. Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning chatted with MTV about how they felt going into the film.

"I'm so glad that we can let other people know [about the story]. I had never even heard of the story, and a lot of young people hadn't," Kristen said about how she was happy she joined the film.

As for whether they found any aspect of the film particularly daunting, Dakota seemed to have taken it all in stride. "I wasn't dreading anything, actually. I was just really excited to actually do it. It's one of those things, like, you don't know how it's going to feel until you're actually there. And for me, 'Cherry Bomb' was really what kind of summed the experience up for me," Dakota said.

It seems like if you work with "Southland" star Ben McKenzie at some point you're bound to get cast in the newest, hottest vampire franchise. Don't believe us? Well, Cam Gigandet was on "The O.C." and then went on to star in "Twilight." Kevin Alejandro is on "Southland,", but he'll also be joining the cast of "True Blood". Plus, as Ben so, um, nicely reminded us he also has a connection to the world of "Vampire Diaries."

"Paul Wesley played Donnie [on "The O.C.] and is now on 'Vampire Diaries,'" Ben reminded MTV News, jokingly adding, "You need to do your research."

So with such a connection to the world of bloodsuckers and night crawlers, is there a vampire franchise he'd like to sink his teeth into, too? Well, the answer is yes, but its' also not "Twilight," "True Blood" or "The Vampire Diaries." Ben, you see, has more rock'n'roll aspirations on his horizons. That is, if they'll have him.

Mariah Carey was up to no good this morning. The singer/actress tweeted to fans in the wee hours, "I'm up listening to my husband on his radio show in ny on 92.3 lmao! Big kiss to all up so early!!! I'm trying to stay up til NC gets home." Apparently she couldn't wait that long to see see her hubby, Nick Cannon, as he later posted, "My wife just prank called the station and started talking about porn on the air!! CLASSIC."

While Mariah may not have been calling in to promote anything, Channing Tatum was doing just that all day for his upcoming movie "Dear John". Channing stopped by the City of Brotherly Love and enjoyed a taste of the local cuisine, writing via his Twitter, "Yo tweeters in Philly doing press for Dear John. It's a little cold but three words philly cheese steak... Ballin!" "American Idol" fave Jason Castro also enjoyed some food on the road. He informed followers, "I just went throught the lunch line at haverford high school and found funnel cake!! Awesome!! Haha."

If hearing Kristen Stewart's take on Renesmee wasn't enough for you, here's some more "Twilight"-related news sure to boost your spirits: Today is the day pre-orders go live for the various DVD copies of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." But before you run off to find the cheapest copy available for pre-order, there are a couple elements that should be weighed ahead of time.

Both Target and Barnes & Noble are offering special edition versions of "New Moon." Target's is arguably the best, offering a second special edition disc (three discs in all) and a "collectible film cell." The only details they had about the third disc is that it contains "never before seen content," and also commented that quantities are limited for the film cell (so make sure you ask when you pick up your copy). The special edition runs at $36.99, but is $10 off for pre-order, making it $26.99. The Blu-Ray version is $29.99.

Delete the first two words from the Sundance movie title "Sympathy for Delicious" and you're only left with one telling adjective: delicious.

That's the word we would use to describe the snapshot below of Orlando Bloom and Juliette Lewis. It was taken today at MTV's Sundance Photo Booth (earlier, we showed you the outcome of Kristen Stewart's and Jame's Franco's turns in front of the camera). The duo star together in "Sympathy," which is about a paralyzed DJ (Christopher Thornton) who has the power to heal everyone but himself. Kanye West and his lady love, Amber Rose, have been all over Paris Fashion Week. They've been hanging with Chris Brown and a number of the world's most renowned designers like John Galliano and Karl Lagerfeld. But, it's what they've been wearing all over town that has everyone talking — even PETA has expressed concern over the couple's furry outfits.

And, while Kanye has been known to wear fur, it's really Amber's kooky and out there outfits that have everyone taking a second look. For instance, let's take a moment to discuss this barely there number pictured above. The mesh shirt over a nude colored bodysuit gives the illusion that she's not wearing anything, which is only accentuated by the bodysuits loose fit.
