FROM SPLASH PAGE: The cast for "Green Lantern" is starting to fill out. Over the last several weeks, the previously cast Ryan Reynolds has been joined by "Gossip Girl" leading lady Blake Lively as Hal Jordan's love interest Carol Ferris, "An Education" star Peter Sarsgaard as the villainous Hector Hammond and "Sherlock Holmes" bad guy Mark Strong as Sinestro, Hal's mentor turned nemesis.
While there are still other actors remaining to join Martin Campbell's "Green Lantern," Reynolds could only speak to the cast members that are officially on board — specifically Lively, who the eventual defender of Space Sector 2814 described as a perfect fit for the film's female lead.

One of the biggest stars at Sundance is undoubtedly Kristen Stewart, who sweeps into the festival with no less than two indie flicks. In "Welcome to the Rileys," the "Twilight" star plays an underage exotic dancer who's taken under the wing of a grieving father. In "The Runaways," she plays famous punk singer Joan Jett.
Stewart is definitely keeping her busy, between the interviews and walking the red carpet of her duo premieres. We've assembled the best of Kristen's photos below, so click here or on the photo to see Kristen Stewart living it up at Sundance.

The mantra coming from both cast and crew on the red carpet at the Sundance world premiere of Kristen Stewart's "Welcome To The Rileys" was so uniform one had to suspect they prepped together in private: this is not a stripper movie.
Which is not to say the film doesn't follow a stripper and prostitute—a 16-year-old runaway, played by Stewart, who will do just about any sexual act for money—but rather that these salacious elements are building blocks to tell a story about family and loss, hope and hopelessness. It's an account the actress found all too common in the real world as she prepared for the role. Read more...

Kristen Stewart's punk role in "The Runaways" isn't her only showing at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. She's also appearing in "Welcome to the Rileys," which sees the "Twilight" star as a troubled young stripper named Mallory who becomes a surrogate daughter to a grieving father played by "Sopranos" kingpin James Gandolfini. So naturally, we were curious whether Stewart thought her darker turn will surprise or shock her Twilighter fanbase.
As it turns out, Stewart says the most shocking part of her role is that it's really not that shocking. Read more...

It's Saturday night live... from the red carpet of the 16th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards! Follow right along with us as we put a magnifying glass to the style choices of the best of the best from television and film as they gather into Los Angeles' Shrine Exposition Center. So get ready to roll out another red carpet, HIT REFRESH OFTEN (note that the newest posts appear on top) and weigh-in in the comments section below. Cheers to the 2010 SAG Awards!
8:00 And it's showtime! Thanks for staying with us through the SAG red carpet, we hope you enjoyed our fashion commentary. Stay tuned to Crush this week for a recap of the best and worst from tonight! In case you can't wait till then, check out our full red carpet flipbook.
7:59 Giuliana's gotta get one last self promotional plug in: she says to Ross the Intern, "Let's go home tonight, we'll meet at your place and we'll watch our performances on TiVo and critique ourselves, OK?"
7:58 Adam Lambert! He's fashionably late with bigger hair than we've seen on him before. He was at a photoshoot for Flaunt magazine. He's "like a model for sunglasses now." He hasn't been watching "Idol" yet because he feels bad seeing contestants being made fun of during auditions. "It makes me feel bad!"
7:55 Just got a full-length view of Drew's dress. It's tiered near her thighs which adds unnecessary volume.
7:54 Ed O'Neill would rather live next to his "Modern Family" and not the one he had on "Married With Children." We don't blame him.
7:52 Penelope Cruz is in a black dress. G is asking her about her comment at the Golden Globes that she "holds her own umbrella." These are the hard-hitting questions you won't see anywhere else, folks.
7:52 Drew Barrymore is in a plum purple strapless dress. Her hair looks elegant but I don't understand why she always opts for a nude lip.
7:49 Ross the Intern is ecstatic to be meeting Gabourey Sidibe. She's equally hyper. What a cute girl. She just said she "wasn't an actress" last year. She also claims Justin Timberlake smells like strawberries "as well as everyone else." Food for thought.

Friday night's "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon brought together some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Some like Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper and Vanessa Hudgens, took to the phones to accept donations. While, other participants like George Clooney (one of the driving forces behind the event) and Robert Pattinson, who talked about the importance of technology during a crisis, shared stories from the aftermath of the earthquake. Then, of course, there were the performances. Singers like Jay-Z, Madonna and Beyonce took to the stage, some with surprising duets and covers. Needless to say, the night had its share of memorable moments. We share a few of our favorite highlights below.
It's not often you see Hollywood's leading ladies working side by side to answer phone calls. So it should come as no surprise, that we're absolutely in love with this picture of supermodel Cindy Crawford and actresses Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore and Julia Roberts banding together at the "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon. Oh, and if you're wondering why Drew's got a clipboard on her, she told MTV News' Sway during the MTV post-show that it was because Clooney asked her to be an assistant director at the event.

Many of Hollywood's youngest and brightest stars participated in Friday's "Hope for Haiti Now" benefit, doing their part to raise money and awareness for the earthquake ravaged nation.
Amongst them was pop singer and "Valentine's Day" actress Taylor Swift, who strummed on her guitar, while performing a soulful cover of Better Than Ezra's "Breathless." Besides taking to the mic, Taylor also took calls during the night. One of her calls was from a grandmother who decided to make a donation to Haiti on behalf of her granddaughter. Taylor asked the grandmother to tell the child she said hello and "stay strong."

It's been just a little over a week since a massive earthquake devastated the Caribbean Island of Haiti, leveling buildings and capturing countless citizens underneath the rubble.
While aid efforts for Haiti began shortly after the earthquake, tonight, some of Hollywood's biggest stars got together to bring further awareness to the cause. Amongst them was "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson, who stressed the importance of technology during this crisis.

The whole world will be tuning in tonight for MTV's "Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief" (which is airing across a number of networks) and with good reason. The telethon, which has come together thanks to George Clooney (pictured), will feature a bevy of top celebrities and musical acts all uniting to help raise money for the devastation in Haiti (we urge you to tune in and help in any way you can). "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" drummer Questlove posted a picture from the set, joined by fellow celeb volunteers Sting and Jennifer Hudson: "http://twitpic.com/z7z9v - On the telethon set waiting for Sting & J Hud." Ellen DeGeneres also tweeted to followers, "I’m answering phones @ “Hope for Haiti” telethon Fri night & it would mean the world if you’d watch & call in to donate."
Yesterday marked the official start of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah and stars headed out to hit the screenings and the slopes. "Attack of the Show!" hostess Olivia Munn tweeted, "Goodbye LA rain, hello Sundance snow." Olivia might find herself running into the likes of Paris Hilton who posted, "On my way to the jet, can't wait to get to Sundance. :)" or Wilmer Valderrama, who mentioned he had, "landed on Salt Lake Utah ... Sundance Film Festival @willyVilly has arrived!"

We're beginning to think the adorable Amanda Seyfried is having a secret love affair with the postal service (uh, sorry Dominic Cooper!). In "Mamma Mia," she mailed wedding invites to her three possible daddys, in just two weeks she'll be penning "Dear John" love notes to Channing Tatum and finally, on May 14, she'll be sending "Letters To Juliet." And here we thought snail mail was a dying form of communication.
Snail mail aside, we've got your exclusive first look at the one sheet for the latter of the aforementioned films, which follows Sophie (Amanda), who upon visiting the home of "Romeo and Juliet" — Verona, Italy — helps respond to unanswered letters sent to the fictional Juliet seeking advice about love. One particular letter dated in 1957 catches Sophie's eye and thus provokes a chain of events that somehow leads to romantic drama for all!
It sounds a tad confusing, but after you check out the movie's poster in its full size AFTER THE JUMP, we have a feeling the plot will become more clear.
