Sorry, Team Coco. It was announced earlier today that tomorrow will officially mark Conan O'Brien's last night as host of "The Tonight Show." Fans and celebrities have been rallying around the host as he's gone head-to-head with NBC and Jay Leno during the late-night dispute. Actress Christina Applegate continued to be vocal about her support of Conan, tweeting today, "I'm sad that Conan won't b there when its time to promote stuff. I've always had a blast with him. He knows I love him!" Elsewhere, "One Tree Hill" star Stephen Colletti posted a defiant, "long live conan."

The Conan mess isn't the only bone some have to pick with NBC at the moment. "The Vampire Diaries" (just a few more hours until the new episode, hang in there!) producer Julie Plec took to her Twitter to rally for the oft forgotten, but beloved, series "Friday Night Lights" (Minka Kelly and Taylor Kitsch from the series are pictured). While the show returns to NBC in April, Julie had some ideas for the football drama, "Dear NBC, may I humbly suggest airing FNL from the series beginning, no pre-empts, an occasional double-up, every week for a year... --in an effort to remind people that you care about quality programming," adding, "And it's truly devastating that such a wonderfull written and beautifully acted series will be over before it's time."

Last week, Tim Gunn shared that he disagreed with Nicole Richie when she stopped by "Project Runway" as this season's first celebrity guest judge. And, as the season progresses Tim promises that more famous faces will be stopping by. But, he isn't sure that a Lady Gaga cameo is in the show's future. He's just not sure her over the top style can — as he often likes to say — make it work!

"You know I have a great respect for Lady Gaga, I do, and I love her work. I don’t think of what she wears as being fashion," he told MTV News about the flashy singer, who did manage to stop by Bravo's "Launch My Line" this season. "I think of it more as being fashion and wearable art. Those aren’t real clothes and if you saw them on anyone other than Lady Gaga you'd say, 'This is ridiculous!' But on Lady Gaga you believe because it is who she is."

There's much in store for Bon Temps' shapeshifting barkeep Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) in the upcoming season of HBO's "True Blood." In addition to an "erotic connection" growing between Sam and Sookie's vampire boyfriend Bill (Stephen Moyer), the adopted son will find his birth parents and perhaps have some of those lingering questions about his origin answered. When we caught up with Sam on the Golden Globes red carpet, he answered some of our burning questions, including what we can expect next season.

"Well, my character is going to find his biological parents, which is definitely going to end up in some bad stuff for me," Sam revealed. "They're very sketchy. Sort of, uh... I'll just say, trailer trash. That's what I come from, so I can just say that."

For a female pop group who only had two years of the bright spotlight of fame shined upon them, the Spice Girls have a surprising amount of longevity. During the two year period of time from the release of "Wannabe" in 1996 to when Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) left the group in 1998, the Spice Girls became one of the biggest pop icons of the 90s. After being split for nearly a decade, the girls reunited in 2007 and 2008 for a worldwide tour that made more than $70 million. And now they're back for more.

That's right, children of the 90s (an, uh, fans of outrageous style), the Spice Girls getting their own musical!

Variety dropped the news this morning that the Girls' manager Simon Fuller will be teaming up with "Mamma Mia!" producer Judy Craymer to create a Spice Girls musical called "Viva Forever." Like "Mamma Mia!" did with Abba's music, "Viva Forever" will center on the Spice Girls culture rather than be based on their music or lives.

If the students of West Beverly begin running amok next season on "90210," you'll know why — half the high school's faculty seem to be quitting their day job. Both Jennie Garth, who plays guidance counselor Kelly Taylor, and Rob Estes, who plays Principal Harry Wilson, will not be returning for the series' third season.

Though it's clear both stars will be leaving the show, what isn't crystal clear is why. RadarOnline.com talked with opposing sources, one who said the departure is on "good terms," while the other divulged Rob is leaving because of salary disputes. The actor released his own, not-terribly-revealing statement yesterday saying, "This is my final season on '90210' and I wish the show, cast and crew nothing but the best. I am looking forward to spending time with my kids and exploring other opportunities."

Nick Jonas has had quite an interesting run since venturing out on his solo tour with The Administration this month. With a packed house every night, the support of his brothers both on and off stage, and show-stopping surprises like covers of both Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift songs at his concerts, Nick is proving he has just what it takes to pull off his side project — and pull it off well.

When MTV News asked if the Miley or Taylor had contacted Nick after hearing that he paid homage to their tunes, he said, "I really haven't heard from them directly. I noticed that Taylor started following me [on Twitter] after I played her song, which is cool. ... I think they're great songs and I'm just happy to throw them in there and play them in the set. I think a great song is a great song at the end of the day."
