Last week, we noted that Joe Jonas was trying to snag a role in the ABC drama “Brothers and Sisters,” but we have since learned that those plans have changed due to scheduling conflicts. Joe, who was set to appear in a two episode arc, will now be replaced by "Make It or Break It" star Cody Longo (pictured far right), according to EW.com.
Though we’re sad we won’t get to see Joe on the small screen, we are excited that former Hump Day Hottie Cody is taking his place as the young Tommy Walker (Balthazar Getty) in a flashback. If you’re not familiar with Cody, we’ll fill you in. This 21-year-old Colorado native is currently breaking out onto the scene and has already appeared in "Medium," "Make it or Break It," "Ball Don't Lie" and "Fame."
Cody will play a 16-year-old Tommy in the drama’s upcoming two-hour flashback-heavy episode. Executive Producer David Marshall Grant said the special episode will take viewers back to three different time periods and expose a “shocking and transformative” secret about the Walker family.
In addition to Cody’s role, E! has reported that Daniel Cosgrove of “Dirty Sexy Money” and of course, the original “Beverly Hills, 90210,” will play the young version of Tom Skerritt's Walker patriarch William. We will miss Joe, but with these replacements, it should be interesting!
