Last year, Britney Spears became the new poster girl for Candie’s, rocking an ad campaign while decked out in printed crop-tops, bright bikinis and jewelry in front of a sugary sweet backdrop filled with cotton candy. This year, she’s back for another round, with a series of ads photographed by some of the industry's top photographers for the "Britney Spears Through the Lens" ad campaign.
Brit had the opportunity to work with legendary photographers Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger and Terry Richardson for the shoot, which took place in Hollywood at the Paramount studios in late 2009. In the video above, Brit recalls her experience shooting the ads: "Annie, Mark and Terry are three of the biggest photographers in the world. I am honored to be working with them for my Candie's Only at Kohl's ads. It was an amazing shoot, and I know my fans are going to love the cool images. ... I'm very excited to be working with Candie's for a second season."
Out of all the new looks for Candie’s, Brit admits she loves the dresses the most. "They're actually very fitted and flattering for women," she said.
So, what can we expect to see this time around? Well, we got a sneak peek of the photos at Hollywoodscoop.com, and they are gorgeous! Mark designed a "Moulin Rogue"-inspired setting for his photographs and also had Britney pose on a motorcycle, wearing a sexy, belted red tube top and tight blue jeans.
Terry and Annie opted for simple backdrops. In Annie’s photo, Britney is seated on the edge of a chair, in an elegant black dress and heels, with windswept hair pushed to one side. For Terry’s shot, she is bright and airy in a white lingerie set, holding a hot pink teddy bear above her head.
With a sweet and sexy mix of looks, Britney nailed the shoot, and we’re pretty sure she’s made Candie’s proud once again!
