Rihanna Rings In Her 22nd Birthday At A Party Thrown By Beau Matt Kemp

While Rihanna has yet to admit she's dating L.A. Dodgers player Matt Kemp — despite canoodling very publicly in Cabo San Lucas — it seems her sweetheart decided to throw her a little birthday bash over the weekend.

The singer, who turned 22 on Saturday, was in Phoenix over her birthday weekend where Matt and about 40 of those closest to the couple hung out to celebrate the singer's big day. According to E! News, RiRi was "shocked" that Matt threw her a party, which he had reportedly been planning for about a month.

The party was decorated with flowers, tiki torches in the pool and engraved bottles of Ace of Spades champagne and Johnny Walker Blue. As for the food it included appetizers by a Jamaican chef, Sprinkles cupcakes and a cake decorated with Rihanna's tattoos. "It was so sweet, and she was really surprised," the source told E!. "She looked just beautiful."

Matt also apparently got her a diamond necklace and even booked some top-notch entertainment. According to TMZ, Rihanna, who wore a skin-tight nude colored dress, got a lap dance from a "professional dancer" named "Bridget the Midget."

Just last month, sources close to the couple said that Rihanna was very happy with Matt. "Rihanna wants the world to know that she is happy with Matt," an insider said. "They really like each other."
