So you might've packed up your dancing shoes on Friday night when you realized that the live stream of MTV's newest original movie "Turn The Beat Around" wasn't actually playing on Hollywood Crush as promised. Well, we've since cleared up our technical road blocks and will be back tonight to reveal the movie in its entirety four days before its on-air MTV premiere (Friday, Feb 26 at 10p.m. EST)!

Counting down the days until the release of "Eclipse" seems much easier than countdowns for the series' previous installments, "Twilight" and "New Moon." While a large part of that comes from the fact "Eclipse" is being released only seven short months after November's "New Moon" release (unlike the year gap between "Twilight" and its sequel), it also helps that the young stars of the franchise have branched out and have other, non-vampire films coming out over the next few months.
Leading lady (and newly minted BAFTA Orange Rising Star winner) Kristen Stewart has two films coming out: this weekend's limited release of "The Yellow Handkerchief" and next month's "The Runaways," and, of course, Robert Pattinson has March 12th's "Remember Me."

While Rihanna has yet to admit she's dating L.A. Dodgers player Matt Kemp — despite canoodling very publicly in Cabo San Lucas — it seems her sweetheart decided to throw her a little birthday bash over the weekend.
The singer, who turned 22 on Saturday, was in Phoenix over her birthday weekend where Matt and about 40 of those closest to the couple hung out to celebrate the singer's big day. According to E! News, RiRi was "shocked" that Matt threw her a party, which he had reportedly been planning for about a month.

It looks like Betty White isn't the only one whose fans can launch a successful "Saturday Night Live" campaign. Hardcore Justin Bieber devotees caught the attention of "SNL" producers with their Twitter campaign @BieberOnSNL, which gained around 2,600 followers, urging that he be featured on the show. Now, the pop star, who recently had a hand in the "We Are The World" remake, will perform on the April 10th episode of the late-night sketch show.
Justin thanked his fans via his Twitter page, posting, "Shoutout to @BieberOnSNL and all the other fans who support me. It's happening! SNL in APRIL!! Digital Short Music Vid??" Aside from hopes of doing an "SNL" digital short with the likes of Andy Samberg, Justin already has his dream host in mind, "Me and Chuck Norris should do 'SNL' together. That would be good. Very good."

If you're Dakota Fanning turning 16 is especially sweet. The "New Moon" star will next be seen alongside Kristen Stewart in "The Runways" and just this past weekend the teen queen celebrated her birthday with friends and family in Los Angeles.
According to E! News the actress, who actually turns 16 tomorrow, was joined by 40 of those closest to her at Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills on Saturday night. "She looked like she was having fun and was really cool," a source tells E! about the get-together which kicked off at 7p.m. and ended sometime around 11p.m. "She was talking to her friends and laughing all night."

With less than two weeks left until the Oscars we've been driving ourselves nuts trying to find ways to pass the time. Thankfully, the British Film Academy Awards (BAFTAs) came to our rescue this weekend with a red carpet filled with everything from tons of "Twilight" stars to a real live prince (beat that Academy Awards!). Long story short, the Brits really know how to put on a good show! Now, on to all the fashion fun...
So, let's cut to the chase. There was no shortage of hype surrounding Kristen Stewart's nomination for the Orange Rising Star award at the BAFTAs (especially since Robert Pattinson was also slated to be at the event). Anyway, we were expecting Kristen to show up to the event rocking black or a darker color, but she totally surprised us (in a good way), by wearing a strapless white dress by Chanel. With the exception of the shoes (too bridesmaid-like for our taste), we thought Kristen looked totally glam and classy (though we wish she stood up more straight while getting her picture taken). Good thing too, since she won the rising star award.

After weeks of rumors that he and Jessica Simpson are dating, Billy Corgan has finally spoken up. But, for those who are curious if the odd couple are actually romantically involved, you're going to have to hold out a little bit longer. The Smashing Pumpkins lead singer talked to the Chicago Tribune about just how he and Jessica hooked up (musically, that is.)
Turns out, pop (and occasional country) singer Jessica wanted the hard rocking Billy to help write the theme song for her upcoming VH1 reality show "The Price of Beauty," a series which chronicles how beauty is perceived around the world. Billy explained, "I ended up writing part of (the theme song)," adding, "It has a little bit of an alternative-rock edge, but it's still very poppy."

Sad news for actress Abbie Cornish and Ryan Phillippe. People has confirmed that the pair, who dated for four years, have split.
"Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home," the rep tells People, after the Australian actress was seen moving her belongings from the couple’s home this weekend. The announcement comes after months of rumors that Ryan was cheating on Abbie. He had been linked to other women and been seen hitting the club scene regularly. When asked if that contributed to the break-up, Abbie’s rep replied “No comment.”

Taylor Lautner's a very wanted man nowadays. He has upcoming roles in Hasbro adaptation "Stretch Armstrong," Mattel adaptation "Max Steel," "Cancun," "Abduction" and, of course, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." This weekend held lots of exciting news for the newly-legal hunk, so if you were busy soaking up the lazy-rays, here's a quick recap for you.
First and foremost, it is good to be Taylor Lautner. Nikki Finke over at Deadline Hollywood reports that Taylor is being paid $7.5 million to play the title role in "Stretch Armstrong." It's a good thing that Universal is matching the price it was previously announced Taylor would be making for "Northern Lights," because as of Sunday he has parted ways with that film.
