So long, Shannen! "Dancing with the Stars" said bye bye to Shannen Doherty (pictured) during last night's show. Host Tom Bergeron tweeted how baffled he was by this situation, "Just found out tonight's bottom two on DWTS! WTF???" Still, Shannen was nothing but gracious today, writing, "thank you for all your kind words. I'm a bit sad but mainly for my partner and my dad. I love you all" The only person not on Team Shannen? "The View" cohost Sherri Shepherd, who shared with followers, "Shannon Doherty went home; unfortunately I think the bitch factor worked against her-On this show large fan base needed." Ouch!

There was definitely someone in L.A. getting nothing but glowing reviews last night, however: Sir Paul McCartney. The beloved Beatle put on the first night of his stint at the Hollywood Bowl and celebs came out in droves to check out the legend. Brandi Cyrus tweeted, "wowww seeing Paul McCartney tonight was amazinggg... such a lovely last minute surprise to end my day," while "Glee" star Kevin McHale was equally impressed, posting, "Well done, Mr.McCartney. Well done."

The "Glee" stars will soon be seen at the White House and on “Oprah,” but until then fans have a new Rolling Stone cover to hold them over.

The stars of what Rolling Stone refers to as the “hottest show” on television got wild on the cover and serious inside the magazine for a candid chat. Though the cast — Lea Michele especially — might look caught off guard, when the questions started rolling, they all were prepared to provide direct answers.

This Aussie is bound for Hollywood superstardom. There hasn't been a guy from Down Under (since Heath Ledger or Mel Gibson) that has gotten our hearts pumping this much! With a new movie, "The Last Song," out today, and looks that make us get a little weak in the knees, this charismatic up-and-comer is the only guy who could possibly be this week's Hump Day Hottie.

Press play on the video below to see more of Liam Hemsworth, and then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital Stats: The 20-year-old Aussie grew up alongside equally hot big brothers Luke and Chris (the latter of which, will also be getting his time in the spotlight soon as "Thor"). Liam's a surfer and currently lives in L.A. with big bro Chris. Plus, we're not sure if you heard BUT he's dating Miley Cyrus. That doesn't meant he's not taken aback (in a good way!) that he's our Hump Day Hottie. He said, "Wow! That's very flattering! Awkward!"

It's 3-D movie week on MTV News! Hollywood is slowly but surely growing obsessed with 3-D, and we are positive it won't take long for more than just action and animated films to feel the change. Comedies and romances are sure to be the next genres to get the dimensional treatment, too, and the next thing you know, you'll have to wear glasses even to see the most heart wrenching of films!

While this technology is exciting, there are some classic movie moments we'd like to see preserved in standard format because they are just so much better that way. After the jump, check out our anti-3-D wishlist!

Move over, "American Idol," the most exciting audition for new talent just became the nationwide open casting call for "Glee"! Besides not having to deal with that pesky Simon Cowell, they are allowing anyone (age 16-26) try out for a spot on the smash hit to get the chance to work alongside the likes of Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison.

On the show's official audition MySpace page, talented Gleeks can submit a video containing both a statement about why they want to be on the show and a song from the selected list (all 13 songs to choose from were featured on the show, including Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" and The Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want").

While we're still sad that "The Hills" is ending after the upcoming season, we are super excited about seeing how everything goes down now thanks to the awesome trailer, which premiered on MTV.com yesterday. We decided to give this sneak peek our in-depth analysis by pulling out five key things you should watch for when you tune in to "The Hills" final season beginning April 27.

1. Heidi Confronts Her Plastic Surgery Debacle

Heidi Montag may have parodied her intensive plastic surgery on FunnyOrDie, but the season six preview makes it clear that it's really no laughing matter. In the teaser, Heidi heads home to her mom for the first time after her multiple procedures (watch the clip for the complete list, which Lo Bosworth ticks off oh so eloquently). Heidi's eager to show her mom the 3.0 version of herself, but it's clear that her mom doesn't have the reaction Heidi was hoping for. We're curious to see how Heidi deals with the aftermath of her surgeries, because if her moms reaction is any indication, it won't be pretty.

In the past four years, Miley Cyrus managed to recreate the Disney brand and pop music in general, but also to seemingly take over the world. With the rise of Miley and her equally popular male counterparts, the Jonas Brothers, Disney has once again dominated the pre-teen and teenage pop fandom. With Miley's most recent film, "The Last Song," hitting theaters today, and her recently announced departure from the show that made her famous, "Hannah Montana," it seemed to be the right time to check out the evolution of Miley Cyrus.

Click on the photo below to see Miley throughout the years and keep reading to discover how he turned from child star to media mogul.

But she wasn't born Miley Cyrus. In fact, Miley was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on Nov. 23, 1992 in Nashville, Tenn. Because she kept smiling as a baby, her father (the country star Billy Ray Cyrus) nicknamed her "Smiley," which was later shortened to "Miley," and the name stuck. On May 1, 2008, Miley officially changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus. We've got to admit, we like the ring of "Miley" a bit more than "Destiny Hope."

If the news yesterday that Stephenie Meyer would be releasing a brand new novella as a companion piece to "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" didn't get you excited enough for the month of June, Summit Entertainment decided to release three new stills to get you really salivating. Though we think it would have been fitting to show a shot of the now famous Bree Tanner in action, we think everyone will still be pleased with what Summit has to offer.

While we had complained that the trailer didn't focus enough on the cool action-oriented scenes in "Eclipse," the first still kind of makes up for it (kind of). Bella and Jacob are seen hanging out in the woods in front of some interesting lighting. We're placing our bets that this is the campfire scene where the Quileute werewolf pack shares with Bella the stories of how werewolves were created, and why they hate vampires so much.
