While the majority of the big scenes in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" have been completed, the one big moment that has not been filmed yet is the series' epilogue. told MTV News last month that the epilogue scene is most likely going to be the last one shot during "Deathly Hallows" filming, and it seems as though production is keeping with that plan.
When MTV got a chance to chat with the man behind the boy wizard, Daniel Radcliffe, he admitted that the scene has still not been shot, nor has he seen a final version of a late-30s Harry that fans will see at the end of the film.
"We have done a few tests and it does look really, really rather good," Dan did say enthusiastically.
But the one aspect of the epilogue that got Dan really excited was a certain casting decision. "Deathly Hallows" epilogue spoilers are included beyond this point! In the epilogue, Harry and his Hogwarts girlfriend Ginny Weasley, played by Bonnie Wright, had gotten married and had three children, two sons who they are sending off to Hogwarts, and one daughter — Lily Luna Potter — who is still too young to go. Apparently, a young actress has been chosen to play that role.
"Hopefully, the one thing I'll say, is my daughter is hopefully going to be played by the daughter of Amanda Knight, who is the head of the make-up department," Dan said. "She was born a week before I got the part, and she is now nine, and so is the kind of the physical embodiment of how long we've been there."
It was as though the young Miss Knight were born to play the part, Dan implied. "She's got red hair like Ginny and blue eyes like me so she's perfect to play our daughter," he said.
